MARY LAMERTON
Services for Mary Lamerton, 85, of Westland were May 29 in St. Theodore Catholic Church with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Officiating was the Rev. Gary Michalik.
Mrs. Lamerton was born April 24, 1917, in Paducah, Ky., and died May 24 in Howell. She was a homemaker. She came to the Westland community in 1979 from Detroit. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and its Over 60 Club. She was a volunteer at Westland Convalescent Center and St. Jude Convalescent Center for 20 years.
Mrs. Lamerton enjoyed arts, crafts, cooking, traveling and going to the casinos.
Surviving are her son, Gerard (Cathleen) Lamerton of Brighton; daughter, Mary (Dr. Val) Sobczynski of Lamar, Colo.; brother, Robert Willett of Warren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lamerton was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; daughter, Janet; brothers, James and Thomas Willett; and sister, Betty Cubin.

BETH A PRICE
Services for Beth Price, 37, of Westland will be Saturday, June 1, in L.J. Griffin Funeral Home. Officiating will be Chaplain Rita McEachen Neal from Providence Hospital.
Mrs. Price was born May 18, 1965, in Detroit, and died May 26 at her home in Westland. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Brian; daughters, Ashley, Nicole and Samantha; brother, Eugene Simons Jr.; and sisters, Donna Rose and Carla Hudson.

JOHN GREGORY
John Gregory, 75, of Westland died May 26 at his home in Westland.
Mr. Gregory was born June 3, 1926, in Curtisville, Pa. He was an attorney. He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia; children, Kathleen (Rexford) Martin, Michael (Jan), Paul (Joan) and Beverly (Frank) Dutton; and eight grandchildren.
ARVILLA A. THRUN
Services for former Westland resident Arvilla Thrun, 94, of Livonia will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, in John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City, with burial at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek. Officiating will be the Rev. Kurt E. Lambart from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Westland. Visitation is noon to 3 p.m. Monday, May 27, in the funeral home.
Mrs. Thrun was born March 28, 1908, in Toledo, Ohio, and died May 18 in Livonia. She was a clerical employee.
Surviving are her sons, Herbert (Beverly) Thrun and Charles Thrun; five granddaughters, Victoria Van Gorder, Deborra Warren, Sue Pontin, Loren and Lisa Deen; and seven great-grandchildren.

RAYMOND A. NOVOTNY
Services for Raymond Novotny, 73, of Westland were May 24 in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Westland, with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. David Kipfmiller.
Mr. Novotny was born Nov. 17, 1928, and died May 21 in Wayne. He was an oil line repairman.
Surviving are his sons, Daniel (Victoria) Novotny and James (Kathy Saylors) Novotny; daughter, Debra Fischer; brother, Robert Novotny; and two grandchildren.

HELEN E. ZIELINSKI-WESOLOWSKI
Services for Helen Zielinski-Wesolowski, 86, of Westland were May 24 in St. Richard Catholic Church with burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights. Officiating was the Rev. Terence Treppa.
Mrs. Zielinski-Wesolowski was born June 17, 1915, in Alpha, Mich., and died May 19 in Westland. She was a 1933 graduate of Western High School, Detroit. She was employed as a waitress 1933-41 at J.L. Hudson's in downtown Detroit and a dining room hostess 1970-82 at Burger King, Detroit. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church in Westland, Our Lady Gate of Heaven, Detroit, 24 years and St. Luke's, Detroit.
Mrs. Zielinski-Wesolowski received numerous awards for shorthand, typing and swimming. She enjoyed ceramics, bingo and word search puzzles.
Surviving are her children, Diane (Richard) Scerba of Westland, Stanley (Lois) Zielinski of West Bloomfield and Robert (Sandra) Zielinski of Riverview; sister, Marion Mechling of Pochtello, Idaho; and six grandchildren, Laurie, Lynne, Michael, Dawn, Christine and Kathleen.

HAROLD D. STUTSMAN
Services for Harold Stutsman, 81, of Westland were May 21 in L.J. Griffin Funeral Home with burial at Acacia Park Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. Larry Bartlett from Prayer Baptist Church.
Mr. Stutsman was born Dec. 24, 1920, in Herrin, Ill., and died May 18 in Garden City. He was a route driver for a bakery.
Surviving are his daughter, Carol (Clyde) LeFevre; four grandchildren, Craig, Zachary, William and Amanda; and two great-granddaughters, Katherine and Mary Ann.
Mr. Stutsman was preceded in death by his wife, Alice.
ROY ALLEN LOHN
Private services for Roy Lohn, 62, of Westland were held recently.
Mr. Lohn was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Livonia, and died May 21 at his home in Westland. He was a tool and die maker in the automotive industry.
Surviving are his children, Michael (Debbie), Deborah (Michael) and Linda Lohn; his children's mother, Colleen; brothers, Russell and Ronald; and five grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Owen, Lauren and Aidan.

CLARENCE COLLINS
Services for Clarence "John" Collins, 79, of Genoa Township were May 23 in MacDonald's Funeral Home, Howell, with burial at Lakeside Cemetery, Marion Township. Officiating was the Rev. Howard Soehl from First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Collins was born March 3, 1923, in Callaway County, Ky., and died May 20 in Howell. He was a former Westland resident. He was a maintenance employee with Livonia Public Schools, retiring after 28 years of service. Mr. Collins worked with the Youth Program at Livonia schools and coached Little League in Howell. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Surviving are his wife, Muriel; sons, Larry (Betty) Collins of Howell, Timothy (Truann) Collins of Fowlerville and Michael (Lynn) Collins of Howell; daughter, Diana (Santo) Guido of Dearborn Heights; sister, Ethel (Red) Farris of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

GLEN ROY CRATTY
Services for former Westland resident Glen Cratty, 87, of Meridan were May 13 in Uht Funeral Home with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Schultz.
Mr. Cratty was born Feb. 11, 1915, and died May 10, 2002, in East Lansing. He was a plumber.
Surviving are his daughter, Carole (Bob) Boyes; brother, Charles Cratty; grandson, Todd Boyes; granddaughter, Tracey (J.B.) Audi; great-grandson, Jack Audi; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cratty was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret and Pearl; brothers, Don, Robert and Austin; and sister, Olive Lensky.
