Jeanette A. Lamia
Services for Jeanette A. Lamia, 72, of Plymouth were held Aug. 16 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Doc Ortman officiating. Burial was at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
Mrs. Lamia was born March 5, 1930 in Detroit and died Aug. 12 in Livonia. She was a homemaker. She came to the Plymouth community in 1986 from Redford. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. She loved to read, was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
Survivors include children, Frank Lamia of Atlanta, Ga., Sam (Mary Ann) Lamia of Peachtree, Ga., and Vita (Joe) Ference of Redford; grandchildren, Kelly, Frank and Joseph Lamia; sister, Jean (Gene) Puglise of Fla., Theresa Mapes of Tenn., and Eleanor Rusu of Plymouth; brother, Ronald Burns of Kalkaska; and sister-in-law, Lottie Burns.

Matthew A. Bruscato
Private services for Matthew A. Bruscato, 22, of Canton were held Tuesday, Aug. 13 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Internment was at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
Matthew was born June 3, 1980 in St. Clair, Mich., and died Aug. 8, 2002 in Canton. He was a student.
Matthew was the beloved son of Anthony and Sharon; grandson of Angela and the late Anthony Bruscato, Lottie Depugh, and William and Kayti Depugh; brother of Sarah and Andrew; and uncle of Charlotte.

Juana Oliva
Services for Juana Oliva, 88, of Canton were held Aug. 10 at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home Canton Chapel.
Mrs. Oliva was born Aug. 28, 1913 in Cuba and died Aug. 5 at Henry Ford Hospital. She worked as a garment seamstress.
Survivors include daughter, Sadis E. (Eloy) Kitchener; grandchild, Eloy A.; and great-grandchild, Payton E.

Rodney C. Kallungi
Services for Rodney Kallungi, 54, of Plymouth, were held Aug. 9 at the Vermeulen Funeral Home with the Rev. David W. Martin officiating. Burial was at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mr. Kallungi was born March 14, 1948 in Detroit and died Aug. 6 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was a resident of Plymouth. He graduated from Ferris State College. He was a business owner for more than 20 years. He owned Kallungi Meats in the Gratiot Center Market at Eastern Market in Detroit. There was a fire in 1995 and the business was relocated to Canton. The busines is now called the Eastern Market of Canton.
Survivors include wife, Diana K. Kallungi of Plymouth; step-mother, Josephine Kallungi; daughter, Tracey (William) Randall of Plymouth; son, Michael Harris of Plymouth; son, Matthew Harris of Plymouth; and son-in-law, Rudolph (Pauline) Richards.

Marjorie P. Sike
Services for Marjorie Sike, 79, of Dearborn were held Aug. 10 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with the Rev. John J. Sullivan officiating. Burial was at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
Mrs. Sike was born May 10, 1923 in Detroit and died Aug. 6 at the Farmington Hills Hospice Home. She was a retired child care worker.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Orville Kincaid.
Survivors include daughters, Carol (Roy) Siders of Pittsburgh, Arlene (Don) Ringel of South Lyon, Jo (Doug) Swerc of Plymouth, and Susan (Bob) Levesque of Sioux City, Alabama; and grandchildren, Renee (Dennis) Haviland of Florida (formerly of Plymouth) were held Aug. 10 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy G. Forsyth officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
Mrs. Dyer was born July 12, 1941 in Plymouth and died Aug. 6 in Florida community in 1985 from Plymouth. She liked to travel, go to the casino and crocheting. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her husband, James Dyer.
Survivors include children, Roy (Stephanie) Dyer of Ypsilanti, Leah Haley of Westland, and Regina Dyer of Westland; grandchildren, Rachelle, James, Tyler, Paige, Jacob and Andy; brothers, Jack (Barbara) Wall of Michigan University.
Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Adamson Neill.
Survivors include daughters, Katherine Olsaver Neill, Elizabeth Joan Neill and Sarah Maureen Neill, all of Tecumseh; brothers and sisters, Michael (Mary Ann) Neill of Gainesville, Fla., Thomas (Jennifer) Neill of Dearborn and Catherine (Joseph Krauss) Neill of Plymouth; and father, Joseph T. Neill of Dearborn.

Merlin K. Gaut
Services for Merlin Gaut, 88, of Southfield, were held Aug. 14 at the Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia.
Mr. Gaut was born Aug. 19, 1913 and died Aug. 10. He retired in 1976 from Ford Motor Co. as a Senior Design Checker in Body Engineering. Previously he worked his way through Chrysler and General Motors, where he received his technical training. He worked in many job shops in the automotive industry. As a young man, he owned a card room and Gaut Opera House in Payne, Ohio and came to Ohio.
