Randall "Randy" L. Rowley
Services for Randy Rowley, 37, were held Aug. 15 at Phillips Funeral Home in South Lyon.
Randy was born Jan. 12, 1965 in Flint and died Aug. 11. Formerly of Flint, he moved to the South Lyon/Novi area 12 years ago. He worked for Great Lakes Pump & Supply for the past eight years.
Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Donald and sister, Cheryl.
Survivors include wife, Michelle Rowley of South Lyon; sons, Adam Beal of Colorado and Brandon Spence of Colorado; father, Robert Rowley, brothers, Dale and Robert Rowley.

Cecelia X. Macklin
Private services for Cecelia Macklin, 86, of Plymouth will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Macklin was born Sept. 29, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minn. and died Aug. 11 in Superior Township. She was retired from Chrysler Corporation where she worked as an executive secretary following the death of her husband, Joseph, at a young age. An avid gardener, Mrs. Macklin was known for her beautiful flowers.
Survivors include children, Elaine (Gordon) Didier of Plymouth and Robert (Erika) Macklin of Oakland, Calif.; granddaughter, Karen (Brian Scheuffler) Macklin of Big Sky, Mont.; and sister, Irene Homiak of Albuquerque, N.M.

Kelly Francis
Kelly Francis, 57, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Plymouth, died July 24, 2002 after a short battle with cancer.
Mr. Francis was born March 1, 1945 in Grosse Pointe Farms and died in Mt. Pleasant. He was retired from the Wayne County Road Commission in 1986 after 20 years of service. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus in Plymouth.
Mr. Francis is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Shannon (Rick) Ferger of Rochester Hills; son, Mike Francis of Whitmore Lake; and grandson, Hunter Ferger.

Susan A. Esch
Services for Susan Esch, 79, of Houghton Lake (formerly of Plymouth), were held Aug. 5 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
Mrs. Esch was born June 3, 1923 in Ypsilanti and died July 31 in Lansing. She was a homemaker. She came to the Houghton Lake community in 1982 from Plymouth. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Englewood, Fla., where she spent her winters. She loved to sing in the church choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, and sister-in-law.
Mrs. Esch was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Esch.
Survivors include son, James (Gloria) Esch of Port Huron; daughter, Sandra (Norman) Helfer of Holt; son, Thomas (Rita) Esch of Roscommon; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Guy Hubbard of Ann Arbor; and sister-in-law, Jenny Hubbard of Roscommon.

Mary Wheeler Wallace
Services for Mary Wallace, 89, of Plymouth will be held Aug. 23 at the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Wallace was born Sept. 25, 1912 in Detroit and died July 31 in Ann Arbor. She was a homemaker. She came to the Plymouth community in 1968 from Birmingham. She was a member of the Plymouth Garden Club. She loved gardening and was an avid reader. She spent her summers on Bois Blanc Island. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her husband, Donald James Wallace.
Survivors include daughter, Jane R. (Joseph) Weber of Agoura Hills, Calif.; son, Harvey B. Wallace II of Ann Arbor; grandchildren, Jill Rehfuss (Craig) Reidel of Green Lawn, N.Y., Andrew (Tracy) Rehfuss of Carrollton, Texas, Mark (Traci) Rehfuss of Silver Lake, Ohio, Scott (Loree) Weber of Hudson, Ohio, Jessica Pritschet Wallace of Ann Arbor, and Zachary Pritschet Wallace of Ann Arbor; 12 grandchildren; sister, Margaret Joerin of Northville; and brother, Walter (Jeanette) Wheeler of Lansing.

Clara Truesdell Bryn
Services for Clara Bryn, 98, of Plymouth were held Aug. 6 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Bryn was born Dec. 14, 1903 in Canton and died Aug. 2 in Plymouth. She was a retired school teacher. She was a life-long resident of Plymouth. She was a member of the Womens National Farm and Garden Club, Plymouth branch since 1941. she belonged to the Dearborn Country Club and the Womens Club of Plymouth. She loved to travel and she collected antique dolls. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life.
Mrs. Bryn was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Truesdell; husband, Ivor Bryn; granddaughter, Sara Evans; and great-granddaughter Megan Danish.
Survivors include son, Louis (Ellen) Truesdell of Plymouth; daughter, Sally (Robert) Evans of Plymouth; grandchildren, James (Denise) Truesdell, David (Mary Ann) Truesdell, Lynn Truesdell, Robert (Lori) Evans, Michael (Catherine) Evans, Susan Evans, Cameron (Susan) Evans, and John Danish; great-grandchildren, Kathryn, John, and Melaney Truesdell; Carlie and Kayla Evans; and Evan and Nathan Danish.

Bonita L. Bixler
Services for Bonita Bixler, 56, of Canton were held Aug. 5 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Mrs. Bixler was born Feb. 9, 1946 and died Aug. 3. She was employed in health care.

Ross E. Hulet
Services for Ron Hulet, 78, of Livonia were held Aug. 7 at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Forsyth officiating.
Mr. Hulet was born May 6, 1924 in Pontiac and died Aug. 2 in Livonia. He was employed as an engineer. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Benjamin F. Collins
Services for Benjamin Collins, 91, of Plymouth Township, were held Aug. 6 at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Robert Schulz of St. Michael Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Farmington.
Mr. Collins was born July 8, 1911 in Houston, Miss. and died Aug. 2 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia. He was a secretary treasurer for labor unions. He was a member of the Shriners and a long time Lions and Red Wings fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lillian Collins.
Survivors include sons, Chuck (Karen) Collins of Farmington Hills and James (Peg) Collins of Hamburg; grandchildren, Christie, Carrie and Charles; great-grandchildren, Daniel, McKenzie, Steven, and Brandon; and brother, William "Uncle Pit" (Lenore) Pittman of St. Clair Shores.
