Services for Frances M. Devine, 95, of Livonia were held August 6 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Farmington with Fr. Ronald Browne officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery of Detroit.
Frances Devine was born April 11, 1907 in Laurium, Mich. She died August 4 in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by husband Philip.
Survivors include sons Kenneth (Joyce) and Dr. Robert (Mary Ellen), grandsons Dr. Robert Paul Devine and Mark Gedman, granddaughter Amy Doherty, and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Marywood Nursing Home of Livonia.

Services for Thomas Allen Burkhart, 64, of Farmington Hills were held August 6 at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home of Farmington. Pastor John Quigley officiated.
Mr. Burkhart was born May 19, 1938. He died August 3 in Farmington Hills. He was employed by Ash Gear as a general manager.
Survivors include wife Carol Burkhart; daughter Patricia Burkhart; son Thomas (Teresa) Burkhart; stepdaughter Tonnya (Michael) Colbert; stepsons Dwaine (Teresa) Shafe and Kory (Julie) Shafe; sister Kathy (John) Fernandez; grandsons James and Charles; stepgrandchildren Blake, Cherell, Brandon, Alyssa, Dwaine Jr., Johnny, Joshua, MaryRebekah and Krystal; and niece Jaimie Fernandez.

Peter Demers, 79, of Redford Township died Aug. 6, 2002.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Barbara; children, Dave (Anne) of Westland, Naomie (Scott) Forney of Southfield, Noel (Kate) of Southfield, Leonard (Patti) of Redford Township, Paul (Jinia) of Farmington Hills, Ruth of Livonia, Denise (Mark) Stein of Bloomfield Hills and Bill of Livonia; 26 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Demers was preceded in death by his son, Glen, and grandaughter, Erin.

Harrison Blair Kirk III

Mr. Kirk was born February 23, 1936. He died August 2 in Farmington Hills.

Sheldon L. Beckwith
Services for Sheldon Larry Beckwith, 61, of Livonia, were held Aug. 2, at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Jennifer Sadd officiating. Burial took place at Oakwood Cemetery in Farmington.
Mr. Beckwith was born Oct. 27, 1940 in Detroit and died July 28, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. He worked as a model maker for General Motors.
He is survived by his son, Larry (Lisa); companion, Jean Saldana; grandchildren, Jamie Beckwith and Kristyna Beckwith; sisters, Lorene Jeffrey, Dorothy Pettibone and Marlene Trobridge; brother, Al (Joyce) Beckwith; companion's children, Julie (Ken) Richey and Michael Saldana; and companion's grandchildren, Devin and Alaina. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, sister, Tootie and brother, Raymond.
