JOHN F. MUSTONEN
Services for John Mustonen, 60, of Canton were held May 22 at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, Canton Chapel.
Mr. Mustonen was born Jan. 8, 1942 in Laurium, Mich. and died May 17 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He worked in parts districution for an automotive company.
He was preceded in death by Carl, William, Elizabeth Eversole and Ruth Kociba.
Survivors include wife, Nan C; sister, Carol Giacinto; brother, Bob (Dee); sister, Joyce Best; and sister, Helen (Richard) Wood.
Memorial contributions may be made to Garden City Moose, Plymouth Elk, or Motor City Hog.

LELAND A. FEASEL
Services for Leland Feasel, 93, of Canton, were held May 21 at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward C. Coley officiating. Burial was at Acacia Park Cemetery in Beverly Hills.
Mr. Feasel was born Aug. 27, 1908 in Newman, Ill. and died May 19 in Canton. He was the owner/operator of Lee's Frame Shop, formerly of Detroit and Redford, for over 50 years. He owned his shops until he was 84 years old. He came to the Canton community in 1990 from Detroit. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Knights Commandery. He enjoyed helping out with the Demoly and Rainbow Girls. He loved to read. He enjoyed working with cars and people. Everyone called him "Grandpa Lee."
Survivors include children, Lee Ann Panagiotides of Canton; Charles Feasel of Florida; Julia Garris of Dearborn Heights; Al (Shelby) Fernandez of Dearborn; Carolyn (Elek) Tarkanyi of Dearborn Heights; sister, Louise Grant of Northville; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements made by Schrader-Howell Funeral Home.

HELEN B. SMIRNOW
Services for Helen Smirnow, 79, of Northville were held May 22 at the Casterline Funeral Home in Northville with the Rev. John Paton of Northridge Church officiating. Burial was at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
Mrs. Smirnow was born Sept. 29, 1922 in Detroit and died May 17 in Livonia. She lived in Northville since 1968. She was a retired bank teller with NBD Bank. She was a member of Northridge Church. She was an amazing businesswoman. She loved her family very much, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her brother, George.
Survivors include husband, Nicholas Smirnow; daughters, Cheryl (Tony) Facione of Livonia, and Patti (Marvin) Lee of Walled Lake; sons, Randy (Fran) Smirnoff of Highland and Nicholas (Beverly) Smirnow, Jr. of Northville; grandchildren, Melissa, Anthony, Jason, Brian, Jessica, Heather, Andrea, Amy, and Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Alyssa, Grace, Joshua, Levi, Jeremy, Keith Jr., Kyra, Kate, and Kelel.

THOMAS J. NAUMANN
Private services for Thomas Naumann, 57, of Canton were held. Mr. Naumann was born March 11, 1945 in Detroit and died May 20 at Oakwood Hospital. He was a salesman for a manufacturing company.
Survivors include brother, William J. (Anne) Naumann; sister, Marjorie (John) Sherk; and several nieces and nephews.

THOMAS L. MATHEWS, SR.
Services for Thomas Mathews, 84, of Plymouth were held May 22 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with the Rev. Doc Ortman officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
Mr. Mathews was born Oct. 25, 1917 in Sugar Notch, Penn. and died May 19 in Plymouth. He had lived in Plymouth since 1940. He worked for Ford Motor Company at the Livonia Transmission Plant. He had a perfect attendance. He had been a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, Faithful Navigator and Faithful Admiral and he was a Captain of the Honor Guard. He enjoyed repairing watches and clocks.
Survivors include wife, Anna Mathews of Plymouth; daughters, Joan M. Mathews of Ann Arbor and Elaine A. (Terry) Hoffman of Dowington, Penn.; son, Thomas L. (June) Mathews of Livonia; sister, Mary C. Cavenar; grandchildren, Daniel Mathews, Michael Mathews, Samantha Mathews, Melissa Mathews, Beth Lopez, Darcy Hammonds, and Christopher Hoffman; and great-grandchildren, Breanna and Brandon Lopez.

FLORENCE H. GEDDES
Services for Florence H. Geddes, 85, of Canton were Saturday, May 25 from L.J. Griffin Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven B. Schafer of Mt. Hope Congregational Church officiating and burial at Parkview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Geddes was born Oct. 11, 1916 in Detroit and died Wednesday, May 22 at Westland Convalescent Center. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly E. (James) Hersman; son Gary A. two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Jr. and daughter Marilyn Laughlin.
Memorials may be sent to Odyssey Hospice, 26111 Evergeen, Ste. 303, Southfield, MI 48076.

DORIS GORDON BEERBOWER
Services for Doris Gordon Beerbower, 87, were privately held and arranged through the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home in Garden City.
Mrs. Beerbower died Friday, May 17, at Heartland Health Care Center in Dearborn Heights. She was retired from the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.
Survivors include sons Gordon (Ana), Lynn (Carole) and Lee; sister Helen Emenhiser of Monroeville, Ind.; brother Wayne (Marceil) Gordon of Cecil, Ohio; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Cecil A. Beerbower in 1956.
Memorials may be made to Hospices of Henry Ford, 23000 Mack, Suite 500, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 or to a charity of choice.

SADIE LEONARD
Services for Sadie Hedwiga Leonard, 96, of Evart, formerly of Farmington were Saturday, May 25 from Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Thomas Slowinski officiating.
Mrs. Leonard was born Oct. 15, 1905 in St. Louis, Mo. and died Thursday, May 23 in Farmington. She was a sales associate in yard goods and cosmetics.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Jackson of Canton; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Franklin and son, Edward.
Cremation rites were accorded.

MATTHEW MCINTOSH
Services for Matthew McIntosh, 95, of Plymouth were held June 8 in Booneville, Ky.
Mr. McIntosh was born June 1, 1907 in Booneville, Ky. and died June 4 in Westland. He was a retired machine repairman for Evan Products. He came to the Plymouth community in 1950 from Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian McIntosh, and son, William H. McIntosh.
Survivors include children, Beech (Nettie) McIntosh of Plymouth, Denver (Jackie) McIntosh of Booneville, Ky., Anna Louise Nix of Plymouth, Juanita (Jim) Wolford of Bonneville, Ky., Eula (Vern) Woodard of Plymouth, and Ola (George) Young of Ann Arbor; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Clora McDaniels of Booneville, Ky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
