Wakako Loomis
Services for Wakako "Mona" Loomis, 69, of Farmington Hills, were held Sept. 21 at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Jennifer Saad officiating.
Mrs. Loomis was born June 20, 1933 in Japan and died September 18, 2002 in Northville.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Marci); daughters, Tomoe (James) Lombard and Teresa (John) Yee; former husband, James (Donna) Loomis; seven grandchildren; four sisters; and two brothers.

Paula Madsen
Services for Paula Madsen, 81, formerly of Farmington Hills, were held Sept. 21 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. John Maki officiating. Burial took place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
Mrs. Madsen was born July 30, 1921 in Detroit and died Sept. 18, 2002 at Canterbury on the Lake Nursing Home in Waterford Township.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Ann); brothers, Nick and Andy Butkevich; sisters, Alexandra Leskevich and Sonia Romanon; and grandchildren, Reid and Nicholas.

Geraldine M. Jarackas
Geraldine Mary Jarackas, 79, of Farmington Hills, died Sept. 18, 2002 at Botsford Continuing Health Center in Farmington Hills.
Mrs. Jarackas was a homemaker and lived in Farmington Hills most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Wolfe; brother, Edward Donovan; and grandchildren, Wendy and William. She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, and son, William Hix.

Warren F. Volker
Warren Volker, 79, of Farmington died Sept. 14, 2002.
He was a former resident of Redford. He was a member of the Ashlar Masonic Lodge of Detroit.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; daughter, Shirley (Robert) Bryant; brother, Wilbur (Mary) Volker; and sister, Thelma Gerber.

Edward Papier
Services for Edward Papier, 83, of Livonia, will be held at 1 p.m. today, Sept. 26, at St. Priscilla Catholic Church in Livonia with the Rev. Raymond Bucon officiating. Burial will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
Mr. Papier was born June 25, 1919 in Detroit and died Sept. 21, 2002.
He is survived by his niece, Rosemarie (Carl) Trouteaud; nephew, Bernard (Jeanette) Kolodziejski; great-nieces and nephews, Tim Trouteaud, Gerri Powell, Renee (Scott) Courtny, Danielle DePriest and Ryan (Amy) DePriest; and great-great-niece, Chloe Noelle.

Thomas C. Chwalik
Services for Thomas C. Chwalik, 59, of Farmington Hills, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at St. Fabian Catholic Church in Farmington Hills. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. today, Sept. 26 at McCabe Funeral Home in Farmington Hills.
Mr. Chwalik was born in Romulus and died Sept. 23, 2002 at Huron Valley Hospital. He worked as an engineer for Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Robert, William and Barbara; one brother; one sister; and three grandchildren.

Alger E. Green
A memorial service for Alger Eugene Green, 80, of Farmington, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Nardin Park United Methodist Church in Farmington Hills with the Rev. Benjamin Bohnsack officiating.
Mr. Green was born Dec. 24, 1921 and died Sept. 23, 2002. He worked as a production controller for the auto industry and was a member of Nardin Park United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Joyce; sons, Donald (Kitty) and David (Tracy); brothers, Leon and Max; sister, Edna Depew; and grandchildren, Katie, Jonathon, Jackie, Andrew and Melissa.

Joe Jagotka
Services for Joe Jagotka, 74, formerly of Farmington, will be held at noon today, Sept. 26 at St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen with the Rev. Albert Couturier officiating.
Mr. Jagotka was born Dec. 21, 1927 in Piney Fork, Ohio and died Sept. 22, 2002 in St. Helen. He was a former member of Our Lady of the Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach and a former member of the AmVets in Port Hope. He was also a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; sons, Vincent, Michael (Rhonda), and Stanley; daughters, Lisa (Allen) Butler, AnnaJo (Rocky) Taylor and April (Jeffrey) Deslippe; and grandchildren, Vincent, Becky, Eric, Alisha, Amber, Joshua, Kayla, Joseph, Abby and Zoey.

Mrs. Ellis was born Sept. 5, 1928 in Danville, Ill. and died Sept. 24, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She worked as airline customer service rep.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Ellis; son, Mark; grandson, Alex Ellis; and sister, Patricia Gildersleeve. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, one brother, and six sisters.
George Stickle
Services and burial for George Stickle, 80, of Farmington Hills, were held Sept. 27 at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia with the Rev. Larry Austin officiating.
Mr. Stickle was born June 18, 1922 in Bay City and died Sept. 24, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. He worked as a social studies teacher for Bay City Public Schools for 35 years and also worked for Dow Chemical for three years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; daughters, Christine (Lynn) Fauver, Mary (Ray) Stack and Tricia (Tom) Dennis; brother, James (Charlotte); sister, Jeanne (Walter) Wilder; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
