BETTIE D. EMMERSON
A memorial service for Bettie D. Emmerson, 81, of Farmington Hills, will be held at 3 p.m. today, July 11, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Kurt Stutz officiating.
Mrs. Emmerson was born Sept. 20, 1920 in Calumet, Mich. and died June 23, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She worked as a retail salesperson and enjoyed reading and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Emmerson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Emmerson.

ROMAN GAWLOWSKI
Services for Roman Gawlowski, 84, of Farmington, will be held at 10 a.m. today, July 11, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Farmington with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mr. Gawlowski was born Aug. 5, 1917 in Waterbury, Conn. and died July 7, 2002 at Botsford Commons in Farmington Hills. He was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Joanne"; sons, Patrick, Bill (Jeri), the Rev. Fr. Michael and the Rev. Fr. Paul; and sisters, in-law, Julie and Ethel Gawlowski.

LYMAN W. WARNOCK
Services for Lyman W. Warnock, 67, of Brighton, were held July 9 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Brighton.
Mr. Lyman was born Dec. 10, 1934 in Mount Pleasant and died July 4, 2002 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor. He was an industrial arts teacher with the Farmington School District for many years. He was also a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; and sons, Mark and David. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

JAMES F. ROBERTS
A memorial service for James Frank Roberts, 47, of Farmington, will be held July 21.
Mr. Roberts served in the U.S. Navy for nine years and received many medals and commendations.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda; parents, Ronald and Lois Roberts; sister, Gayle Roberts Krupin; brothers, Ronald (Rhonda), Steven (Barbara), Brian and Michael; five nieces; six nephews; and one great niece.

ANNA M. BAJEK
Services for Anna Michele Bajek, 18, of Farmington, were held July 2 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington with the Sister Beverly Hinson officiating. Burial took place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
Miss Bajek was born April 6, 1984 in Detroit and died June 28, 2002 at Children's Hospital in Detroit. She attended Farmington Public Schools and graduated from Harrison High School. She received the Presidential Award for Scholastic Excellence.
She is survived by her parents, Edward and Janice Bajek; sister, Sarah; grandparents, Murray and Reta King and Nellie Bajek; aunts and uncles, Mary Ann (John) Tracey, Robert (Connie) Bajek and Gary (Eleanor) King; several cousins; and many special friends at Children's Hospital. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Bajek.

HENRY C. LUM
Services for Henry Charles Lum, 80, of Novi, were held July 6 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington.
Mr. Lum was born July 3, 1921, in Detroit and died July 1, 2002 at Providence Hospital in Novi. He was the owner/operator of the Great Wall of China Restaurant in Farmington. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kit; sons, Sterling (Jessica) and Tertius; daughter, Sempre (Tony) Andrews; brother, Howard Lim; and grandchildren, Brandon, Darius, Osric and Dylan.
STEPHANIE L. BAKER
Private services were held for Stephanie Lynn Baker, 26, of Farmington.
Ms. Baker was born Aug. 8, 1975 and died July 1, 2002. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1993. She is survived by her mother, Bonnie (Dwight) Comer; father, David Baker; stepfather, David Shank; and sister Jennifer Shank.

MARY C. MORGAN
Services for Mary Catherine Morgan, 79, formerly of Farmington, were held July 1 at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Frederick Klettner officiating. Burial took place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. Morgan was born June 6, 1923 in Detroit and died June 27, 2002 at Heritage - Oakwood Hospital in Taylor. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her grandson, Timothy Fenner; and several other grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William, daughter, Julia Fenner and son, William.
ARBUTUS J. DUNN
Services for Arbutus Josephine Dunn, 77, of Farmington Hills, were held June 29 at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Dan Havron officiating. Burial took place at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mrs. Dunn was born Aug. 13, 1924 in Milford and died June 26, 2002 in Farmington Hills. She was a housewife and mother.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick (Sandy), Calvin, Robert and Christopher; daughters, Karen Mastrianni, Patricia Dunn, Lori (Frank) Koates, Arutus (Rick) Ahern, Mary (Dan) Lucero and Caroline Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin.
HOWARD E. DISBROW
Services for Howard Eugene Disbrow, 71, of Farmington Hills, will be held 2 p.m. today, June 30, at Unity of Livonia with the Rev. John Wingfeld officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci, Mich.
Mr. Disbrow was born Aug. 15, 1930 in Warsaw, Ind. and died June 26, 2002 in Farmington Hills. He worked as a baker and was former president of Hagelstein's Bakeries of Royal Oak.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons, Howard Jr. and Nicholas Bisset; daughters, Jeanette (Jeff) Irby, Linda (Dan) Laitila and Desiree (Al) Disbrow; sister, Darlene (Fred) Shurfield; brother, Carl (Jane) Disbrow; and nine grandchildren.

MARQUITA STIFTER
Services for Marquita Stifter, 65, of Farmington Hills, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 1 at McCabe Funeral Home in Farmington Hills.
Mrs. Stifter was born in Rochester, N.Y. and died June 26, 2002, at Beaumont Hospital. She taught elementary school in Chili, N.Y. and enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Matthew (Melissa) and Mark (Marci); daughter, Therese (Dan) Niemi; mother, Della Christel; grandchildren, Amanda, Tony, Becky, Bob and Elizabeth. She is preceded in death by her brother, George Christel and her father, Anthony.
