Richard Edward Hahn
Services for Richard Hahn, 53, of Garden City were today, Thursday, Sept. 5, in John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Kurt R. Radke.
Mr. Hahn was born June 9, 1949, in Garden City and died Aug. 31 in Garden City. He was a meat cutter.
Surviving are his wife, Kay; son, Derek Hahn; daughters, Shannon (Michael) Otter and Michelle (Thomas) Anderson; and seven grandchildren.
Patricia Kay Murray-Williams
A memorial service for Patricia Murray-Williams, 51, of Garden City was Aug. 31 in R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Murray-Williams was born Sept. 24, 1950, in Detroit and died Aug. 28 in Farmington Hills. She was a marketing assistant for an automotive company.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; children, Janette (Jason) LaPres, Karl Murray-Hughes and Jessica Williams; parents, Vaden and Mary Murray; siblings, Sharon (Walt) Kopacz, Debbie (Bob) Murray-Worley and Tim (Kim) Murray; and two grandchildren, Brady and Knole.
There are family members in the Livonia community.
David D. Beaudet
David Beaudet, 66, of Garden City died Sept. 10. He was born July 29, 1936, in Maine.
Mr. Beaudet was a Garden City resident 39 years. He was retired from General Motors Willow Run Plant. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey; daughters, Linda (Steve) Bodnovits and Bonnie Beaudet; four grandchildren, Melissa (Todd), Jenny, Shane and Scott; and one great-grandchild, Zachary.
Memorial tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Duane Sylvester Wolfrom
Services for Duane Wolfrom, 78, of Garden City were held Sept. 17 in R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home with a Mass following at St. Raphael Church. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield with the Rev. Fred Misiolek officiating.
Mr. Wolfrom was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Detroit and died Sept. 13 in Ann Arbor. He was a painter in the construction industry.
He served with the paratroops during World War II. He was in Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, England and Germany. During this time, he earned the Purple Heart, four battle stars, The Rome-Arno, Southern France, Ardennes and the Rhineland campaigns. He also earned the Infantry Combat badge, Presidential citation, and the Belgium Fourgerra.
Surviving are his children, Nancy (David) Eichenberg, Michael, Thomas (Denise), Mary Obeid and David (Angela); brother, Edward (Millie) Rzeppa; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wolfrom was preceded in death by his wife, Anna.
Harriet Alice Upton
Services for former Garden City resident Harriet Upton, 81, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland, with burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, Westland. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today, Sunday, Sept. 15, in the funeral home, and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of service.
Mrs. Upton was born Dec. 23, 1920, in Detroit and died Sept. 12.
Surviving are her children, Diane Upton of Kinchloe, Mich., Cynthia (Ron) Foster of Fulton, N.Y., and Keith (Bonnie) Upton of Hartland; brother, Robert Bonner of Hillsdale; and grandchildren, Adam, David, and Peter Foster; and Emily, Charles, Emmet and William Upton.
Mrs. Upton was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, in 1963.
Leila J. Suda
A memorial service for former Garden City resident Leila Suda, 85, of Pueblo, Colo., was Sept. 12 in the Penthouse at Villa Pueblo Towers in Pueblo. Officiating was the Rev. Ray Hawkins.
Mrs. Suda was born April 30, 1917, in Manistee, Mich., and died Sept. 10 in Pueblo. She moved to Colorado in 1997. She was a librarian at the Villa Pueblo Towers, Pueblo.
Surviving are her children, Gary (Sandra) Suda of California and Nancy (Sam) Pisciotta of Pueblo, Colo.; and grandchildren, Wyatt Suda, Kelsey Pisciotta and Sam Pisciotta; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Davis Mortuary of Pueblo, Colo.

Michael J. Harrison
Services for Michael Harrison, 56, of Garden City were Aug. 26 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Wayne, with burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, Westland. Officiating was the Rev. Jack Baker.
Mr. Harrison died Aug. 21.
Surviving are his sons, Michael Colton and Tommy; daughter, Veronica (John) Lempea; mother, Whilhelmina Harrison; sisters, Ann Jara and Mary Nevin; and three grandchildren, Liz, Trisha and J.J. Lempea.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his father, Michael Harrison.

Shirley M. Sobkowiak
Private graveside services for Shirley Sobkowiak, 75, of Garden City were held at Glen Eden Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
Mrs. Sobkowiak was born April 30, 1927, and died Aug. 12 in Ann Arbor. She was a secretary for Michigan Bell Telephone Co.
Surviving are her daughter, Karen, and grandson, Billy.
Mrs. Sobkowiak was preceded in death by her husband, William.
