CLARA L. LACROSS
Services for Clara L. LaCross, 75, of Garden City were July 6 from Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Westland with the Rev. Gerard Bechard officiating and burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mrs. LaCross was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Toronto, Ontario, and died July 3 in Garden City. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Gerard (Betty) LaCross; daughter Betty (Michael) Johnson; and five grandchildren.
Preceding in death was her husband, Edward.
John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home in Garden City handled the arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice.

JAMES WAYNE BOYER
A funeral Mass for James Boyer, 60, of Woodhaven was June 26 in St. Roch's Catholic Church, Flat Rock, with burial at Tennessee. By the time he was a teen, he was singing with small bands, and at 15, he was playing and singing with the Red Kohn Band. Mr. Boyer joined Billy Swan when he was 19.
In the 1960s, he was playing with the Newports, and in the 1970s with the band Marshall, Newell and Boyer. Boyer then went on tour in the United States and overseas with the Billy Swan Band.
He enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving are his wife, Joan; son, Brian Boyer; daughters, Bonnie Boyer-Shaw of Garden City and Suzette Frazho; stepson, Rick Bizon; parents, Irey and Gert Boyer; brother, Rick Boyer; sister, Bettie Ritter; and five grandchildren, Ashlee, Kyle, Megan, Hailey and Hannah.
Memorial tributes may be made to Paws for a Cause.
Arrangements were made by Voran Funeral Home, Allen Park.

SKIP STREET
Services for Skip Street, 60, of Garden City were June 28 in Community Baptist Church with burial at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. Jonathan D. Allen.
Mr. Street was born March 16, 1942, in Clarksville, Tenn., and died June 24 in Garden City. He was an assembler.
Surviving are his wife, Priscilla; son, Joe (Paula); daughter, Susie (Mike) Bacher; father, Marshall; sisters, Pam Bruder and Candy Chenoweth; and three grandchildren, Brock, Jordan and Madison.
Memorial tributes may be made to University of Calif., and died June 14 in Garden City. She was a nail technician. She was a 1991 graduate of Garden City High School and attended Schoolcraft College. Mrs. Buchanan was owner of Miracle Nails at Gibraltar Trade Center. She also worked at Phylis' Hers and His Salon, Merle Norman Salon and most recently, The JC Penney Hair Studio.
Surviving are her husband, Steve; daughter, Kerrie; father, Donald Boruff; and mother, Janet Leese.

ANGELINA GRACE DILLON
Services for baby Angelina Dillon, 6 months, of Canton were June 22 in Uht Funeral Home with burial at Glenwood Cemetery, Wayne. Officiating was the Rev. Bob McDonald.
Baby Angelina was born Jan. 16, 2002, and died June 18 in Canton.
Angelina is survived by her mother, Tara Toupin; stepfather, Jeff Stewart; brothers, Jesse and Jacob; grandmother, Kathy Dillon of Garden City; step-grandmother, Kim Hubbard of Wayne; step-grandfather, Frank Salter; and grandfather, Robert Toupin.

LINDA S. ZIRKLE-PAILLON
Services for former Garden City resident Linda Zirkle-Paillon, 53, of Westland were June 22 in R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. David Owen from Ward Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Zirkle-Paillon was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Grosse Pointe and died June 19 in Westland. She had been a Westland resident six years. She was self-employed in a child care center. She was a graduate of Garden City East High School. Mrs. Zirkle-Paillon enjoyed taking care of children, planting flowers and photography.
Surviving are her husband, Norman; mother, Bonnie Zirkle; brother, Lary (Noreen) Zirkle; stepchildren, Kimberlee, Angelique and Norman Paillon; and nephews, Timothy, Brandon and Brian Zirkle.
Memorial tributes may be made to American Cancer Society or Community Hospice.

JANET R. ANTHONY
Services for Janet Anthony, 62, of Garden City will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, in Pawlus Roberts Bros. Funeral Home, Belleville, with burial at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today, Thursday, in the funeral home.
Mrs. Anthony died June 25. She was employed by Industrial Strainer as a press operator 30 years.
Surviving are her husband, Donald; sons, Kenneth (Lynda) Gruden, Keith (Karey) Gruden; sisters, Charlotte (Ronald) Donaldson, Gail (Daniel) Rankin and JoAnn (the late Jerry) Wint; eight grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, Nicholas, Kyle, Trevor, Ashley, Emily and Joshua; and great-granddaughter, Taylor. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Anthony was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Elliott.

DAVID A. SHEDD
Services for David Shedd, 47, of Garden City were June 21 in St. Raphael Catholic Church with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Officiating was the Rev. Frederick Misiolek.
Mr. Shedd was born April 11, 1955, in Detroit, and died June 17 in Garden City. He was a ramp agent.
Surviving are his mother, Bernice "Marion" Shedd; brothers, Bob Shedd and Brian Shedd; and cousins, Christine, Kathleen and Michael.
Mr. Shedd was preceded in death by his father, Norman.
Memorial tributes may be made to Wayne State University, Brain Tumor Research.
Arrangements were made by John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

NANCY JANE KING
Private services for Nancy King, 69, of Garden City were recently arranged by R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home.
Mrs. King was born Sept. 17, 1932, in Sommer Hill Township, Pa., and died June 11 at her home in Garden City. She lived in this community many years. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her sons, Mark (Carolyn) and Donald (Wendy); daughter, Kimberly (Tim) Fisher; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Donald.
Memorial tributes may be made to Michigan Humane Society of Westland.
