Florence Banko
Services for Florence Banko, 74, of Livonia were Oct. 5 in St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, with burial at Parkview Cemetery.
Mrs. Banko was born June 8, 1928, in Hamtramck, and died Oct. 3, 2002, at her home in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Peter (Karen), Patrice (Frank) Waite, Pamela and Paul; brother, Edward (Delphine) Wolk; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements were made by L.J. Griffin Funeral Home.
Verne E. Keeth
Verne Keeth, 93, of Westland died Oct. 2, 2002, in Farwell, Mich. Mrs. Keeth was born June 13, 1909, in Detroit. She has lived in this area all her life.
In her later years, she began writing memories of her life in the early 1900s in the Livonia area on the family farm. Several of her stories were published in the Detroit Free Press. She was a secretary and retired from Hawthorn Center in Northville.
Surviving are her sons, Keeth Keeth of Marietta, Ga., Donald (Robbie) Keeth of Plymouth and Michael (Diane) Keeth of Plymouth; daughter, Leslyn (Bud) Young of Farwell; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Keeth was preceded in death by her husband, Vivian; son, James Keeth; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Irene B. Edwards
Services for Irene Edwards, 95, of Livonia were Sept. 30 in Harry J. Will Funeral Home, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards died Sept. 27, 2002. She was a longtime member and Sunday School teacher of Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Floyd; daughter, Sandra (Robert) Crandall; two grandsons, Jason and Jeffrey; and many nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of 11 brothers and sisters.

Anna Dunn
Services for Anna Dunn, 86, of Livonia were Oct. 1 in Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia. Officiating was the Rev.Timothy J. Gambino from Brightmoor Christian Church.
Mrs. Dunn was born May 19, 1916, in Minneapolis, Minn., and died Sept. 27, 2002, in Royal Oak. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Brightmoor Christian Church. She was a 1934 graduate of Miller High School in Detroit.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, John; daughters, Joyce Williams of Livonia and Cynthia (Roger) Allen of Northville; brother, Anthony Caruso; sister, Esther McDonnell; three grandchildren, Lonnie Williams, Jodi Veach and Nicole Allen; and four great-grandchildren, Lucas and Liberty Williams, and Parker and Conner Veach.
Mark Allen Kozub
Services for Mark Kozub, 49, of Livonia were today, Oct. 3, in First Presbyterian Church. Officiating was the Rev. Sue Melrose.
Mr. Kozub was born Feb. 25, 1953, in Detroit, and died Sept. 29, 2002. He was an accountant.
Surviving are his wife, Karen; daughters, Keriann and Rachel; step-father, Florian Rusin; brothers, Paul Kozub, Robert Kozub, Ronald Kozub and Timothy (Patricia) Kozub; and sister, Marie (Thomas) Garavaglia.

Brendan and Elizabeth Mitchell
A Mass of the Angels was celebrated Oct. 1 for one-day-old twins, Brendan John Mitchell and Elizabeth Mary Mitchell of Livonia, at St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield. Officiating was the Rev. Timothy J. Murray.
Infants, Brendan John and Elizabeth Mary, were born Sept. 27, 2002.
The babies are survived by their parents, Brian and Heather Mitchell of Livonia; grandparents, Lyn and Penny Beesley, Jack and Shelley Tynan, Walter and Cecelia Zawal and Alice Winner; and many aunts and uncles.

Jill Helene McNeilly
Services for Jill McNeilly, 48, of Livonia were today, Thursday, Oct. 3, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park. Officiating was the Rev. John W. Meyer.
Mrs. McNeilly was born May 25, 1954, in Detroit, and died Sept. 30, 2002, in Farmington Hills. She was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; children, Sarah, Eric, Shannon and Heather; father, Vern Bradach; brother, Kirk Bradach; and sister, Toni Toth.
Mrs. McNeilly was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Bradach.

Robert A. Kellogg
A memorial service for Robert Kellogg, 84, of Livonia will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, in St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 39000 Six Mile Road in Livonia, with burial at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Kellogg was born Oct. 13, 1917, in Olivet, Mich., and died Sept. 27, 2002, at his home in Livonia. He was a Livonia resident since 1947, and previously lived in Battle Creek.
He was an elementary school principal in the Livonia public schools 1947-1980. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Western Michigan University and his master's degree in education from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Kellogg was a Private 1st Class in the Army Air Force. He enjoyed wood working, traveling and biking.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Lenora; sons, Jeff Kellogg and Tom Kellogg; daughter, Karen Vasold (Kellogg); sister, Ruth Cameron; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Floyd L. Spaulding
Services for Floyd Spaulding, 85, of Plymouth were Oct. 1 in Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, with burial at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton. Officiating was the Rev. Jeffrey Noble.
Mr. Spaulding was born June 15, 1917, in Wayne, W.Va., and died Sept. 28, 2002, in Superior Township.
He was retired from General Motors Spring and Bumper Plant where he was a solution attendant.
He came to the Plymouth community in 1955 from West Virginia. He was a member and Deacon at Main Street Baptist Church of Plymouth. Mr. Spaulding was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved gardening and playing play pool with his grandchildren. He was also a great story teller.
Surviving are his sons, Ray (Lottie) Spaulding of Livonia and Jay (Wanda) Spaulding of Troy, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Ray (Jane) Spaulding of Livonia, Jamie (Mary) Spaulding of Troy, Tenn, Ron (Jamie) Spaulding of Canton and David (Cheri) Spaulding of Troy, Tenn.; seven great-grandchildren, Cayte, Jacob, Ethan, Waylon, Nathan, Cody and Savannah; special niece, Jeri (Cary) Black of Canton; special great-nephews, Andrew and Greg Black; and special friend, George Akers of South Fulton, Tenn.
Mr. Spaulding was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, and grandson, Kevin Spaulding.
