Kevin Lee Franklin
Services for Kevin Franklin, 39, of Novi were Sept. 14 in Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home with burial at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. Officiating was the Rev. Jennifer Saad.
Mr. Franklin was born Sept. 10, 1963, in Detroit, and died Sept. 10, 2002, in Detroit. He was employed in the restaurant industry.
Surviving are his brothers, Ernest Franklin of Redford, Kenneth Franklin and Duane Franklin; and sisters, Martha Severson, Karen Jarvis of Livonia and Linda Petiprin.
Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Ernest Franklin, and nephew, James.

Betty Jean Hagan
A memorial service for Betty Hagan, 81, of Livonia was Sept. 5 in Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Jennifer Saad.
Mrs. Hagan was born May 20, 1921, in Detroit, and died Sept. 2, 2002, in Farmington Hills. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Howlett; sons, Robert (Chris), William (Dianne), Bradford (Liz) and Brian (Cheryl); brother, Jim Reynolds; sister, Barbara Tubbs; eight grandchildren, Kelley, Stacy, Andrew, Brad, Adam, Brian, Paul and Marc; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial tributes may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
Juan Blay
A memorial Mass for Juan Blay, 70, of Livonia was Sept. 6 in St. Damian Catholic Church. Officiating was the Rev. Larry Zurawski.
Mr. Blay was born in the Philippines and died Sept. 4, 2002, in Livonia. He was an engineer for an oil refining company.
Surviving are his wife, Letecia; children, Luvinia (Steve) Snider, Ronelo (Maritess) Blay and Elizabeth Blay; two sisters; and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by L.J. Griffin Funeral Home.
Floyd Sergi
Services for Floyd Sergi, 85, of Fenton were Sept. 1 in Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, Plymouth with burial at St. John Cemetery, Fenton. Officiating was Henry Schaffer.
Mr. Sergi was born Feb. 9, 1917, in Bush, Ill., and died Aug. 29 in Commerce Township. He was a retired press operator for Ford Motor Company in the Rouge Plant. He came to the Fenton community in 2001 from Dearborn Heights.
Mr. Sergi enjoyed fishing, watching the stock market and going to the casinos.
Surviving are his wife, Julia; children, Valerie Sergi of Richmond, Va., Charlene (Albert) Podgorniak of Grass Lake and Gail (James) Gibson of Fenton; sister, Lena Crudo of Calif., were today, Thursday, Sept. 5, in Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church in Livonia, with burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
Mrs. Loughner was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Harrisville, W.Va., and died Aug. 30, 2002, in Folsom, Calif., and Sue Loughner; grandson, Benny Schuknecht of Charleston, S.C.; and cousin, Alice Taylor, of Salem, Ore.
Mrs. Loughner was preceded in death by her husband, John, and son, John.
Memorial tributes may be made to Mercy Hospice of Sacramento, New York, N.Y., and died Aug. 30, 2002, in Livonia. He was an assembly worker in the automotive industry.
Surviving are his sister, Nadine (George) Tait; nephews, Ronald Tait and Christopher Tait; and niece, Deanna Klisz.
Richard A. Robinson
Services for Richard Robinson, 65, of Livonia will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, in Leonard A. Turowski & Son Funeral Home, 9300 Middlebelt Road, Livonia.
Visitation is 1-9 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 5, in the funeral home. Officiating will be Father Scott Burnia.
Mr. Robinson was born Jan. 8, 1937, in Detroit, and died Sept. 2, 2002, in Livonia. He worked in sales for a floor covering company.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine; children, Craig, Dianne (Dirk) Burnia, Brian, Diana and Debra; mother, Jessie; brother, Earl Jr.; and four grandchildren.
