Mrs. Pelto was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Detroit, and died Aug. 16, 2002, in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Robert (Donna) Pelto of Livonia, Mary (Tom) Allore of Jackson, Nancy (Stuart) Smead of South Lyon and Patricia (Ben) McDermott of Livonia; and 10 grandchildren, Bradley and Bethany Boegler, Jillian and Nicole Pelto, Danielle and Stephen Allore, Rachel Smead, and Katherine, Michael and Shannon McDermott.
Mrs. Pelto was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.
Ellen Louise Zanke
Services for Ellen Zanke, 61, of Farmington Hills were Aug. 30 in Thayer Rock Funeral Home in Farmington, with burial at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi. Officiating was the Rev. Ronald Brown from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Mrs. Zanke was born Aug. 31, 1940, in Detroit, and died Aug. 28, 2002, in Farmington Hills.
She was a secretary for Farmington Public Schools, retiring in 1999 after 33 years of service. She enjoyed golf, bowling and tennis.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Albert; son, Brian Zanke of Farmington Hills; daughter, Brenda (Randy) Payne of Livonia; brother, John Scheible of Utah; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephen and Kendall Ellen.
Irene S. Daugherty
Services for Irene Daugherty, 85, of Farmington were Aug. 30 in Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mrs. Daugherty was born Nov. 25, 1916, in Detroit, and died Aug. 28, 2002, in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, William; sister, Helen Cotter; five step-children; and friend, Catherine Yates-Doman of Livonia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Daugherty was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Shosh.
Patricia Kay Murray-Williams
A memorial service for Patricia Murray-Williams, 51, of Garden City was Aug. 31 in R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Murray-Williams was born Sept. 24, 1950, in Detroit, and died Aug. 28 in Farmington Hills. She was a marketing assistant for an automotive company.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; children, Janette (Jason) LaPres, Karl Murray-Hughes and Jessica Williams; parents, Vaden and Mary Murray; siblings, Sharon (Walt) Kopacz, Debbie (Bob) Murray-Worley and Tim (Kim) Murray; and two grandchildren, Brady and Knole.

Samuel Ralph Agius
Services for Samuel Agius, 94, of Livonia were Aug. 31 in St. Genevieve Catholic Church, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield. Officiating was the Rev.Howard Vogan.
Mr. Agius was born Jan. 10, 1908, in Malta, and died Aug. 29, 2002, in Livonia. He was a meat cutter.
Surviving are his daughters, Barbara Agius, Mary Ann (Jerold) Neff and Theresa Shook of West Bloomfield; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Willard Sherman Witter
A funeral Mass for Willard Witter, 79, of Livonia was Aug. 31 in St. Genevieve Catholic Church, with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery.
Mr. Witter was born March 7, 1923, in Detroit, and died Aug. 28, 2002.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Patricia; son. James; daughter, Mary Pierce; sister, Helen Zabik; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Lisa.
Mr. Witter was preceded in death by his brother, William.

Harriette Ann Brown
Services for Harriette Brown, 74, of Livonia were Aug. 28 in Bethel Baptist Temple Church, Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. Max A. Clifton.
Mrs. Brown was born Jan. 15, 1928, in Jackson, and died Aug. 25, 2002, in Farmington. She lived in Livonia for eight years, and was a former resident of Redford. She was a custodian for Grace Lutheran Church. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Temple Church. Mrs. Brown was a volunteer with the Awana Program.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel; children, Carolyn (Bob) Mele, Cathy (Vic) Adams, JoAnn Hemming and Jim (Laurie) Brown; sister, Helen (Conley) McMullen; and eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dan (Jennifer), Lawrence, Sean, Kim, Travis, Zachary and Matthew.

Wallace R. Luttermoser Sr.
Services for Wallace Luttermoser Sr., 79, of Livonia were Aug. 26 in Fred Wood Funeral Home, with burial at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Luttermoser was born in Detroit, and died Aug. 23, 2002, in Livonia. He was a metal fabricator. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his son, Robert Wallace Jr.; daughters, Joanne Johnson, Dolores Darlington, Sharon Voss and Kathryn; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Albert Anton Junglas

Mr. Junglas was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Hot Springs, S.D., and died Aug. 24, 2002, in Farmington Hills. He was a resident of Farmington Hills seven years.
Surviving are his wife, Signe, and sisters, Lillian Lobbestael of Livonia and Ada Muonio of Battle Ground, Wash.

Thomas Joseph Hankins
A funeral Mass for Thomas Hankins, 69, of Livonia was Aug. 27 in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Dearborn. Officiating was the Rev. William Brennan.
Mr. Hankins was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Detroit, and died Aug. 23, 2002, in Southfield. He was a former resident of Brighton and Dearborn Heights.
Mr. Hankins was an inspector for General Motors, retiring in 1986 after 36 years of service. He served during the Korean War. He was a member of Livonia VFW Post No. 3941.
Surviving are his sons, Mark of Dearborn, Michael of Westland, Jeffrey of Ypsilanti, Thomas of Melvindale and Charles of Fenton; daughters, Barbara Birecki of Taylor, Joanne Hankins of Romulus and Mary Martin of Dearborn; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Hankins was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.

A memorial Mass for Raymond King, 80, of Livonia was today, Thursday, Aug. 29, in St. Theodore Catholic Church, Westland.
Mr. King was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Detroit, and died Aug. 26, 2002.
He worked for Detroit Ball Bearing 37 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Theodore Parish and active in the Mens Club. He was an avid musician.
Surviving are his wife, Cathy; children, Gary (Linda) King, Kathi (Mike) Prentice and Larry (Debi) King; sister, Kathleen Trulson of Anacortes, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.

Joan E. Strautz
Services for former Plymouth resident Joan Strautz, 72, of Henderson, Nev. were Aug. 16 in Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth. Officiating was Sanford Burr.
Mrs. Strautz was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Detroit, and died Aug. 8, 2002, at her home in Henderson. She lived in Plymouth 43 years. In 1996, she and her husband, Bill, retired to Henderson. They enjoyed daily strolls with their walking club, "The Sun Striders," and also enjoyed weekly big band dances.
Surviving are her husband, Bill; children, Mark (Brooke) Strautz of Austin, Texas, Randa (Tom) Williams of Plymouth, William Strautz, Jr., of Chicago, Penny Lercue of Littleton, Colo., Perry (Debbie) Strautz of Livonia and Kelly Strautz of Beverly Hills, Mich.; and seven grandchildren, Shelley and Ryan Williams, Matthew and Kenneth Lercue, and Joshua, Brandon and Allie Strautz.

Mr. Walsh was born Oct. 6, 1925, in Dearborn, and died Aug. 16, 2002, in Farmington Hills. He was a retired training supervisor for New York Life Insurance Co.
Surviving are his sons, Jim (Peggy) Walsh of Livonia and Tom (Magie) Walsh of Plymouth; and 10 grandchildren.
