Mary Daniels, Elvis Presley fan
Mary Gail Hicks Daniels was an Elvis fan - for her 60th birthday, her family hired an Elvis impersonator, who serenaded her with "Hound Dog."

Her bedroom was covered in pictures of Elvis, said Lisa Ann Daniels-Sutton, of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., one of her three daughters. 'She was definitely one of his biggest fans."
Ms. Daniels was also a sports fan - when it came to the baseball, basketball and soccer games her grandchildren played in. She was always on the sidelines, cheering, said Joyce Salazar of Florence, another daughter.
"Us kids and her grandchildren were pretty much her life, " Salazar said. "She was really involved with all of us, really close with us."
