Malachi Zeth McHugh joined the Lord Jesus in heaven on Thursday, September 26, 2002. He was our beautiful angel sent from God on August 29, 2002. His little bright eyes were a joy to behold.
His memory will live on through his parents, Tracy Schmude and Steve McHugh Jr.; brothers, Noah and Ian; grandparents, “Nana” Pat Metzler, Larry and Paula Mader, Steve and Vicki McHugh Sr.; aunts and uncles, Anna Gehrke, Tammy Reinke, Michael Mader, Danny Mader, Micki Mader and their families.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, on Saturday (TODAY) from 11:30-1:30. Following the visitation we will leave for First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota Street, for a 2:00 PM funeral service. Family burial services will be held on Monday at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.

Steven R. Drew, age 40, of Neenah, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, October 1, 2002. He was born on August 17, 1962 in Oshkosh to Clifford and Shirley (Pigorsch) Drew. Steve married
Holly Kromm on July 23, 1983 in Oshkosh.
Steve was employed as a supervisor at Curwood-Bemis Corporation at the time of his death. He had served with the U.S. Army and was very patriotic. Steve was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, camping, horses, and was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife: Holly of Neenah; one son: Jamie Drew of Neenah; one daughter: Ashley Drew of Neenah; his parents: Clifford and Shirley Drew of Oshkosh; one sister: Lynn (Tom) Richmond of Menominee Falls, Wisconsin; his mother-in-law: Lorraine Kromm of Oshkosh; three brothers-in-law: Herman Kromm Jr.; Harley Kromm; and Rodney (Trudy) Kromm, all of Oshkosh; three sisters-in-law: Bonnie Kromm of Oshkosh; Marcia Ortiz of Neenah; and Linda (Thomas) Gintner of Oshkosh; eleven nieces and nephews: Sara, Erin, Joel, Chad, Brad, Casey, Christopher, Lynsie, Patsie, April, Kaitlin; and his beloved dog, Pepper.
Steve was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Herman Kromm Sr. and one nephew: Justin Ortiz.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1206 Ontario Street, with Reverend Walter Moll officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, and on Friday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the church. A memorial in Steve’s memory is being established by his family.

Lorraine Grasee passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on Thursday, October 3, 2002. She was born in Oshkosh September 24, 1942.
Remembering Lorraine are her beloved husband of 41 years, Dale Grasee; daughters, Amy (Greg) Carpenter, Beth Hass, Paula (Jim) Jungwirth and Sarah (Jason) Borgardt all of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Levi, Gracie, Rhyah, Maisy and Tana Jungwirth, Tyler and Emily Hass and Jacob Grasee; siblings, Donald (Doreen) Samida, John (Rita) Samida Jr., Ralph Samida, Charlotte Samida and Josephine (Ralph) Hoppe along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet, and siblings, David Samida, Eleanor Omness, Mary Burzik, Anna Friday, Shirley Flath and Robert Samida.
Lorraine dearly loved her family and was devoted to caring for her daughters and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 5th, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 808 N. Main Street, led by the Rev. Joel Olsen. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.

Renata Maria Aloisza Cieszynski

Renata Maria Aloisza Derber Cieszynski of Oshkosh passed away at home after a brief illness on Saturday, October 5, 2002. Renata was born in Chropachow, Poland, on June 18, 1924. She was the daughter of Roman and Agnes (Borth) Derber. She grew up in Poland until World War II when the Nazis and the Red Army advanced to the English and American lines in Germany. At the war’s end she was settled into a displaced persons camp where she met and married
a former Polish POW of the Nazis, Jan Francisek Cieszynski of Krakow, Poland.
In 1950 Jan, Renata, and their two children immigrated to Neenah, Wisconsin from Germany. Jan began working for Oshkosh Truck and eventually the family settled in Oshkosh where they added three more children to the family. Renata created a warm and happy home for her family and a welcome gathering place for many new immigrants to the Oshkosh area. She has instilled in her children a love of books, cooking, gardening, and the diversity of our community. Her children have very many loving memories of their mother.
She is survived by three daughters: Bozena Cieszynski and her partner, Tom Segnitz of Oshkosh; Barbara and her husband, John, Hubertus and their children: Shanda Hubertus and Scott Hubertus, and granddaughter, Jassmine Schmidt all of Oshkosh; Izabela Cieszynski and her husband, David West, of Newport News, Virginia; one son: Janek and his wife, Laurie Cieszynski and grandson, Clayton, of Oshkosh; one brother: Marian Derber and his family of Solingen, Germany; one sister-in-law: Zofia (Erik) Zeganska and her family of Warsaw, Poland.
Renata was preceded in death by her husband, Jan Cieszynski, and by her eldest son, Wladyslaw Cieszynski
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1020 West Sixth Ave.), with Reverend Regis Barwig officiating. Interment will follow services at Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials in Renata’s memory may be made to Lourdes Academy.
The family wishes to thank Doctor Joel Lundberg and Affinity Visiting Nurses for their kindness and help. Special thank you from Renata’s family to Sharon and Mark Heiser for their friendship to their mother.
