Most of Bob’s working life was spent as a meat cutter. He cut meat for Krambo, National Foods, Piggly Wiggly, Kohl’s and several Pick ‘N Save stores throughout the Fox Valley. Other employment endeavors included Wisconsin Industrial Fastener, Badger Concrete, Schaefer Sausage Co. and Manpower Inc.. Bob also tried selling insurance, autos, shoes, advertising specialties and cleaning products, plus dabbled in car customizing. He would say, “I tried but failed. But, hey!! I tried. Ha-ha.” Bob retired in March of 2000. He served in the US Marine Corps Reserves from 1955-63.
Much later in life Bob was introduced to “the scripture” by Sister Charles Ann Champeau. Bob’s faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ grew tremendously. Although Bob was not catholic, friendships cross many boundaries. Sister Charles Ann became a very close friend and kept him on his toes, to remember where he came from and why he was here. Bob loved the reading and study of the Bible and did it daily. He loved Hebrews 12:1-13. Bob delved into the study and reading of the “word of truth” with great admiration, respect and love for Jesus Christ, who died for him and wanted Bob to some home and into “the kingdom of eternal life.” O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. Psalm 84:12.
Surviving are a son, Steve Kaiser with his daughter, Jamie Kaiser and her son, Gavin; a daughter, Kim Redmann with her sons, Christopher and Matthew Redmann; his aunt and “second mother, ” Viola Mancuso; and special friends of the family, Deanna and Donald Miller. His parents and a brother, Marvin Kaiser, preceded him in death.
