Other employment endeavors included Wisconsin Industrial Fastener, Badger Concrete, Schaefer Sausage Co. and Manpower Inc.. Much later in life Bob was introduced to “the scripture” by Sister Charles Ann Champeau. Bob’s faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ grew tremendously. Although Bob was not catholic, friendships cross many boundaries. Sister Charles Ann became a very close friend and kept him on his toes, to remember where he came from and why he was here. Bob loved the reading and study of the Bible and did it daily. He loved Hebrews 12:1-13. Bob delved into the study and reading of the “word of truth” with great admiration, respect and love for Jesus Christ, who died for him and wanted Bob to some home and into “the kingdom of eternal life.” O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. Psalm 84:12.
