Robert Livingston loved traveling
Each year, Robert P. Livingston couldn't wait to get together with his fellow Navy buddies who served on the U.S.S. Columbia in World War II.
Equaling the excitement of visiting with old friends was the chance to see a new city.
The group picked a different places to meet each year with locations ranging from Louisville to San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Livingston grew to love traveling so much, he even spent his 75th birthday on a cruise through the Panama Canal.
"From the time he was in the Navy, he loved to travel to different cities, " said Robert M. Livingston, a son from Cincinnati. "Before last year, he never missed any of his Navy reunions."
