Joan Bryson, in-home nurse's aide, volunteer
Joan Bryson loved helping people so much in later years she would work as an in-home nurse's aide for the elderly and volunteer for the Salvation Army.
"Whenever somebody needed help, my mother was always there, " said her daughter, Theresa M. Hehman. "She was always willing to help anybody anyway she could. She just enjoyed being with people."
Mrs. Bryson, 66, died at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood, of a heart attack.
A long-time Covington resident, she had recently moved in with her daughter who lives in Florence.
Mrs. Bryson was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington.
In addition to her daughter, survivors include her sons James C. Hehman of Covington, Charles E. Hehman and Thomas A. Hehman, both of Erlanger, and David J. Hehman of Union; sisters, Marian Stover of Alexandria, Beverly Nelson of Pennsauken, N.J., Shirley Hutton and Sandy Noe, both of Covington, Patty Noon of Fort Wright and Geraldine Krebs of Foster; brothers, Harry Crawford of Morningview, Frank Crawford of Independence and Ron Craw- ford of Villa Hills; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger.
Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.

William D. Branum, 60, of Cincinnati, died Thursday at his home. He was a Realtor with Huff Realty and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Verona.
Survivors include a son, Matthew Scott Branum of Union; a sister, Jewel Simpson of Glencoe; and a grandson.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Fort Mitchell.
David W. Bressler, 51, of Falmouth, died Monday at his home. He was a load operator with Dravo Lime Co. and a member of Grassy Creek Christian Church. A son, Bradley Bressler, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Jones Bressler; a son, Brian Bressler, at home; a daughter, Jennifer Bressler, at home; sisters, Ruth Coyle of Melbourne, Judith Reichter and Karin Brown, both of Fort Thomas, Denise Bressler and Lisa Smith, both of Dayton, Claudia Dickman of Burlington and Vicki Aylward of Cincinnati; brothers, Woodrow Bressler of Lexington, Terry Deaton of Newport, Danny Bressler and John Bressler, both of Bellevue, Tommy Bressler of Indianapolis and Michael Casagrande of Cincinnati; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Gardnersville Cemetery, Falmouth.
Randy Smith "Bubba" Cobb, 18, of Owenton, died Sunday in Monterey. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his parents, Randy "Pedro" and Donna Stafford Cobb, both of Owenton; sisters, Miranda Spaulding of Daphne Cobb, both of Owenton; grandparents, Marilyn and Bobby Graves, and Donald Beck and Jenny Stafford, all of Wheatley, and Betty Cobb of Owenton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Patsy Kendall Edwards Collins, 87, of Cynthiana, died Sunday at University Medical Center, Lexington. She was a homemaker and a member of Colemansville Christian Church and Renaker Homemakers. Her husbands, Vernon Edwards and William Collins, both preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Maurice Edwards of Bourbon County; a daughter, Helen Edwards of Harrison County; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.

Margaret Smart Denham, 75, of Hebron, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday at her home. She worked at the Boone County Public Library, Union Branch. She was a member of Point Pleasant Church of Christ in Hebron and the Boone County Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph T. Denham; a son, Daryl M. Denham of Burlington; daughters, Diana M. Johnson of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Denise M. Savage of Union, Daria M. Gerding of Hebron, Dorelle M. Hogan of Anderson, Ind., and Dru M. Baker of Eustis, Fla.; and 15 grandchildren.

Alice Kate Field, 94, of Ripley, Ohio, died Tuesday at Ohio Valley Manor, Ripley. She was a former teacher, a member of Augusta Christian Church and a former trustee of Knoedler Memorial Library, Maysville.
Survivors include several cousins.

Eileen Owens Grady, 76, of Edgewood, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood.
She was a homemaker, an employee of Summit Hills Country Club, a member of St. Pius Church in Edgewood and a British Army veteran.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Grady; daughters, Maureen Gerrein of Park Hills, Therese Dolan of Cincinnati, Kate Barker of Fort Wright and Bridget Spears of Edgewood; sons, Jack Grady of West Chester, Ohio, Will Grady of Erlanger and Peter Grady of Cincinnati; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Leonard G. Hamilton, 93, of Newport, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Lakeside Health Care Center, Highland Heights. He was a retired chemist. His wife, Loretta Schneeman Hamilton, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Grant Hamilton of Newport; nieces and nephews.

Dr. Evelyn A. Heringer, 67, of Fort Mitchell, died at 3:40 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a retired pharmacist with Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati.
Survivors include a brother, Dr. Howard A. Heringer Jr. of Lakeside Park; nieces and a nephew.

Mary L. Humphries, 75, of Maysville, died Monday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville. A son, Larry Eugene Humphries, and a daughter, Linda Lou Humphries, both preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Orville Humphries; a son, Orville Humphries Jr. of Maysville; a daughter, Mary Alice Formosa of Leland, N.C.; a sister, Lou Alice Shelton of Aberdeen, Ohio; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Karl Heinz Juhn, 60, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a truck driver with All-Rite Ready Mix Inc. and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Juhn; daughters, Karlene Fornwald of Independence and Denise Grosser of Union; sons, Micheal Juhn of Florence and Karl Juhn Jr. of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

Heinrich G. "Henry" Kraeling, 70, of Fort Wright, died at 11:55 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a bricklayer with Bricklayers Union Local No. 2.

She was a customer service representative with Wal-mart in Alexandria.

Florence "Betty" MacInnis, 83, of Erlanger, died Saturday at Florence Park Care Center, Florence.
She was a bartender and a member of Red Roosters, Cincinnati.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph F. MacInnis; a son, R. Phillips Sper of Erlanger; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Clarence A. Zehnder, died in 1962. Daughters, Mary Lee Scott and Catherine Sue Foushee, also preceded her in death.
