Harold Bryant
A funeral for Harold LeRoy "Monk" Bryant, 53, of Warsaw, Ill., who died at 9 p.m. Saturday Jan. 7 in Keokuk Area Hospital, is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in DeJong Funeral Home with the Rev. Darryl Ridgely officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland cemetery at Keokuk.
Visitation began at 2 p.m. today.
He was born Aug. 9, 1935 in Keokuk, son of James and Mildred Ellis Bryant. He married
Judy Williams June 17, 1969 at Quincy, Ill.
Employed as a bricklayer until 1978, he lived in Hamilton for 15 years before moving to Warsaw 2½ years ago.
Survivors include his wife Judy; sons Doug of Sand Springs, Okla., and Duane of the home; brothers James of Converse, La., Gaylord of Keokuk, Richard of Danville and Michael of La Harpe, Ill.; sister Mrs. Bonita Nourse of Colona, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

HAROLD BRYANT
Harold LeRoy "Monk" Bryant, 53, Warsaw, died Saturday in Keokuk (Iowa) Area Hospital.
He was born Aug. 9, 1935, in Keokuk, a son of James and Mildred Ellis Bryant. He married
Judy Williams June 17, 1969 at Quincy.
Employed as a bricklayer until 1978, he lived in Hamilton for 15 years before moving to Warsaw 2 1/2 years ago.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Doug, Sand Springs, Okla. and Duane, at home; four brothers James, Converse, La., Gaylord, Keokuk, Richard, Danville, Iowa and Michael, La Harpe; one sister, Bonita Nourse, Colona and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held Tuesday, the Rev. Daryl Ridgely officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk.

Helen L. Bryant
Helen L. Bryant, 68, of rural Sutter, Ill., died at 12:16a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Rocky Run Township, the daughter of Luther and Willa Shipe Foley. She married
Delbert Bryant on Aug. 21, 1937, in Keokuk.
She was of the Methodist faith and had worked with her husband on the family farm.
Survivors include her husband; sister Mrs. Harold (Mary) Mulch of Carrollton, Mo.; three nephews and eight nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services were held Sunday at Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton with the Rev. Paul M. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Oak Valley cemetery in rural Warsaw.
Memorials may be made to the Hancock County Cancer Foundation.

James Bryant Sr. Dies Suddenly on Saturday
James Carroll Bryant, Sr., 49, of 222 1/2 Exchange, died at 10 a.m. Saturday of a coronary occlusion suffered on the street. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Graham Hospital.
Born June 21, 1910 in Greensburg, Missouri, he was the son of Leo Vernon and Rose Elizabeth Dalton Bryant. He had lived in Keokuk for 40 years and was employed at the Keokuk Electro-Metals Company.
On December 26, 1930, he married
Fern A. Rice in Kirksville.
Surviving are his father, and step-mother, two sons, Leo O. and James Carroll, Jr. of Keokuk, three daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Betty Lou) Fox of Keokuk, Mrs. Gerald (Laura Marie) Beasick of Douds and Mrs. Richard (Joyce Ann) Daisy of Lake City, a brother, Ward of Luray, Missouri. five sisters, Mrs. Carl (Fern) Rose Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. Lester (Mary) Jump, Mrs. Floyd (Helen) Howard and Mrs. Darrell (Eva) Burdette all of Keokuk and Mrs. Verna Mitchell of Alexandria and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers, a sister and grandson.
The body is at DeJong's Funeral Home where the services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. T. Chandler Burton officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

James E. Bryant
The funeral of James E. Bryant will be held from the Kelso mortuary Sunday [September 1, 1929] at 2:30. Rev. C. S. Linkletter will conduct the service. Burial will be in Green Mountain cemetery.
MAN DROPS DEAD WHILE DELIVERING MILK THIS MORNING
Attack of Heart Trouble Caused Death of James E. Bryant At 6:30 At the Sharp Home On Arapahoe.
James E. Bryant, 47, was stricken with heart trouble shortly before six o'clock this morning [August 29, 1929], while he was delivering milk to Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Sharp, 459 Arapahoe. Death followed at 6:30.
Mr. Bryant was seen to fall by his son, Gale, age 17, who was driving a truck for the Alba dairy in whose services both were employed. With the assistance of Mr. and Mrs. Sharp, Gale Bryant moved his father into their home; he then called Dr. Carl Graf also his mother, from her home at 2726 Pine. She was present when Mr. Bryant died without regaining consciousness.
The Bryant family came to Boulder three years ago from Keokuk, Iowa, for the benefit of the health of their son, Leo Henry, who died in November, 1927. They remained and Mr. Bryant has been in continuous employment of the Alba dairy.
He left on his route this morning at 4, according to J. F. Brahmstadt of the dairy.
Surviving Mr. Bryant are his wife, Lorretta Bryant, and three sons, Gale, 17; Guy 13, and Kenneth, 10.
He was born in Memphis, Mo.
Mrs. A. Harbur, 2044 Nineteenth street, is a sister of Mrs. Bryant and Mr. E. Flick of 2232 Pearl is a cousin.
The body is at Kelso's mortuary waiting funeral arrangements.
James Bryant
James Bryant, age 46 years, died last Friday [August 29, 1929] morning while at his work delivering milk for the Alba Dairy.
Mr. Bryant appeared to be as well as usual when he left home, and went out on his route as usual. While making a delivery of milk to the Sharp residence, 459 Arapahoe, he fell limp upon the grass and died a few minutes later. Illness of heart trouble and kidney disorder was said to be the cause of his death.
Aside from his widow, he is survived by three small sons, Gale, 17, Guy, 13, and Kenneth, 10.
