Rosalyn Flannery, secretary for 20 years, Bellevue native
Rosalyn Ruth Flannery of Bellevue was a secretary for more than 20 years. She also was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
"She was a very loving, giving person, " said a daughter, Peggy Owen of Dayton.
Ms. Flannery died Sunday at her home. She was 86.
Ms. Flannery lived her entire life in Bellevue. She was a secretary for Grote Manufacturing Co. in Bellevue for about 10 years. Among the things the company made was medicine cabinets.
Grote subsequently moved to Madison, Ind. Ms. Flannery worked another dozen years at the A. M. Kinney Co. in Cincinnati, an architectural design company. After she retired in the mid-1980s, Ms. Flannery had more time to pursue hobbies.
"She loved crossword puzzles, and she loved to read, " said Mrs. Owen.
"She also loved cross-stitching, crocheting, knitting and sewing."
Besides Mrs. Owen, Ms. Flannery is survived by daughters, Patty Brock and Anne Ponchot, both of Bellevue; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dobbling Funeral Home in Bellevue.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Carrie Goodsin Albert, 74, of Dayton, died Feb. 15 at Clermont Nursing Home, Cincinn ati. She was a 1948 graduate of Speers Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and a member of Speers Hospital Nurses Alumni Association and St. Bernard Church, Dayton. Her husband, George Albert Jr., died in 1981.
Survivors include sisters, JoAnn Clouse and Patty Patrick, both of Michigan; and brothers, Lee Goodsin and Wayne Goodsin, both of West Virginia, and Nick Goodsin of Virginia; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. Bernard Church. Mrs. Albert bequeathed her body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Memorials are suggested to St. Bernard Church, 5th and Berry, Dayton, Ky. 41074.
Lila Binder, 66, of Fort Thomas, died Sunday at her residence.
Survivors include twin children Kathleen M. Binder of St. Pete Beach, Fla., and Kevin A. Binder of Lexington.
Services will begin at noon Thursday at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Fort Thomas. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Northern Kentucky 1403 Alexandria Pike Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075.

Oram L. Brown, 73, of Crittenden, died at 2:40 a.m. Monday at University Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a farmer and a volunteer with Grant County 4-H and Grant County Future Farmers of America. He was a member of Erlanger Masonic Lodge and Banklick Baptist Church, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Smallwood Brown; sons, Larry Brown and David Brown, both of Crittenden, Terry Brown and Gary Brown, both of Walton, Jerry Gordon of Crittenden and Larry Joe Gordon of Dry Ridge; daughters, Linda Brown of Monticello, and Brenda Nilles, Glenda Phillippi and Donna Plunkett, all of Crittenden; a brother, James O. Brown of Cold Springs, Texas; a sister, Myra Mae McDonald of Hebron; 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Monta Corbin, 86, of Covington, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. Her husband, John "Jack" Corbin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Fancher of Newport; nieces and nephews.

Martha Redd Cook, 84, of Corinth, was found dead Sunday near Hebron. She was a homemaker, a former telephone operator with Cincinnati Bell Telephone, a member of Corinth Christian Church and a former Sunday school teacher with the church. Her husband, Harold B. Cook, died in 1999.
Survivors include a stepson, Dennis N. Cook of Loveland, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Deborah A. Cook Clark of Florence; sisters, Mary Lou Adams of Memphis, Ind., and Rosalie Pickett of Cincinnati; a brother, Donald Redd of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery. Etna Beatrice Dugan, 91, of Erlanger, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a manager with the Women's Exchange clothing store in Cincinnati and a member of Elsmere Baptist Church. Her husbands, Spike Dugan, Eddie Grothaus and Cliff Highhouse, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include a nephew, Timothy Michael O'Brien of Burlington.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Clinton B. Elliott, 32, of Crittenden, died at 7:17 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. He was an assembly line worker with Dana Corp., Dry Ridge.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Judy Jump Anderson and Homer Anderson of Dry Ridge; a stepsister, Sabrina Anderson of Dry Ridge; and grandparents, Emma L. and Lonnie May Jr. of Crittenden.

Dorothy Beatrice Harp, 78, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Petersburg, died Thursday in Mesa, Ariz. She was a retired employee of Strathmore Press Co., Cincinnati.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Sexton of Chandler; a son, Chester Harp of Petersburg; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Alice Bertram Knipper, 88, of Highland Heights, died at 10:40 a.m. Monday at Lakeside Health Care Center, Highland Heights. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert J. Knipper, died in 1966.
Survivors include daughters, Elaine Rebholz and Linda Kesselring, both of Cincinnati, Helen Turner of Knoxville, Tenn., and Karen Denemann of Grants Lick; a son, Ken Knipper of Melbourne; a sister, Helen Becker of Fort Meyers, Fla.; brothers, Joseph Bertram of Alexandria and Robert Bertram of Falmouth; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Rodney G. Lillard, 30, of Warsaw, died Monday at his home after an extended illness. He was a truck driver and a member of Family Worship Center, Carrollton.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Lillard of Warsaw; his parents, Beverly Walters of Warsaw and Danny Giles of Union; a brother, Curt Sharon of Warsaw; sisters, Julia McEntire of Warsaw, Shannon Giles of Florence and Danielle Burton of Bellevue; and grandparents, Virgil and Mayme Walters of Warsaw and Willie Giles of Glencoe.

Della M. McKeown, 94, of Villa Hills, died Friday at Madonna Manor, Villa Hills. She was a homemaker and a member of Loyal Boosters, Bellevue.
Survivors include daughters, Pat Heidrich of Erlanger and Bettie Schuman of New Port Richey, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Joseph A. Rupard, 85, of Crescent Park, died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday at Village Care Center, Erlanger. He was a retired truck driver with Consolidated Trucking Co. His wife, Helen Rupard, died in 1968. A daughter, Jacquline Taylor, died in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Rupard of Erlanger; a son, Wayne Rupard of Biloxi, Miss.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Floral Hills cemetery Chapel, Taylor Mill. Catchen Funeral Home, Elsmere, is handling arrangements.
Joseph W. Tolliver III, 39, of Sparta, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was an employee of Emerald Industries and a member of Park Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Joseph Chase Tolliver IV and Ethan James Ryan Tolliver, both of Bellevue; daughters, Sarah Mulligan of Hebron, Kate Mulligan, Aby Mulligan and Meggie Mulligan, all of Bellevue; a brother, Maurice Tolliver of Florence; and grandmother, Flora Belle Washington of Owenton.
