Larry Wayne Moore, CG&E; supervisor
Larry Wayne Moore of Independence was a caring man who put the needs of others first.
"He just had a great heart, " said his daughter, Jessica Moore of Independence. "He didn't worry about himself. He always put his family and everyone else first. He was always second."
Mr. Moore, 52, died of cancer Monday at his home. He was a material and repair supervisor with Cincinnati Gas & Electric in Florence, and a Navy veteran. He was a member of New Banklick Baptist Church.
Mr. Moore enjoyed gardening and collecting antique cars.
Mr. Moore also had very strong beliefs and he stuck to them, his daughter said.
"He was just a person who will not be forgotten, Miss Moore said.
Other survivors include his wife, Nickie Nix Moore; a daughter, Christie McMillan of Independence; a son, Jeffrey Moore of Independence; a sister, Peggy Huston of Independence; a brother, David Moore of Amelia, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Virginia L. Budke, of Fort Mitchell died at 11:35 a.m. Monday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport.
Arrangements are pending at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger.
Earl Grossman, 81, of Ludlow, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington.
He was a district manager of street sales with the Cincinnati Enquirer, a member of St. John Congregational Church in Covington and the Cincinnati Enquirer Veterans Club, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine "Jo" Grossman; daughters, Melissa Sturgeon of Union, Deborah Spaulding of Alexandria and JoAnn "Jody" Wren of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Edmund Grossman Jr. of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a sister, Thelma Kuhn of Belleview, Fla.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Highland Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell.

Leon Lemmons, 93, of Latonia, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Rosedale Manor, Covington.

Florence Morgan, 84, of Batavia, Ohio, formerly of Williamstown, died Monday at Batavia Convalescent Center.
Arrangements are pending at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.
Kyle William Nitschke, 14, of Birmingham, Iowa, formerly of Williamstown, died Oct. 27 at his home.
He was a freshman at Fairfield High School.
Survivors include his mother, Tracy Nitschke of Birmingham; his father and stepmother, Randy and Linda Nitschke of Harper, Iowa; sisters, Catherine Nitschke and Christina Nitschke, both of Harper, and Candice Nitshcke of Birmingham; stepsisters, Katie Pencil and Makayla Pencil, both of Libertyville, Iowa; his grandmother, Judy Nitschke of Elsmere; and great-grandmother, Theda Torline of Covington.
Memorial services were Friday at St. Gabriel and All Angels Liberal Church, Fairfield, Iowa.
Another service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Florence Nature Park.

Iona Webster Sipple, 81, of Latonia, died at 10:35 a.m. Sunday at Rosedale Manor in Latonia.
She was a member of Elliston Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Claxton "Pete" Sipple; a son, Mike Sipple of Covington; a daughter, Donna Jean McClure of Edgewood; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Burial will be in New Vine Run Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
