James T. White, devoted dad, president of Enterprise Bank
James T. White was a bank president who, despite his responsibilities, would readily clear his business slate to make time for family.
"For instance, let's say that dad would have a golf outing scheduled with the board and a meeting with the bank that afternoon, and then I'd call and say, 'Hey Dad, I have this problem at home,' " said his son, Dr. James White, a Cincinnati oral surgeon.
"He'd be right there. First came his wife and kids and then his grandkids. That was him. That was his life."

Mr. White served on the Northern Kentucky University Site Selection Committee and was a member of the NKU Foundation Board. He also served on the board of directors for St. John's United Church of Christ in Newport.
During his retirement, "There were numerous older people who he helped and took around" his son said. "He would say, 'If there's nothing else you have to do, we'll just go out and take a ride and have lunch.' "
