Dentist Robert Davis, taped games for Spartans Little League, football
Dr. Robert C. Davis spent hours, year after year, making videos of baseball and football games for all the teams in Spartans Little League and Football of Northern Kentucky.
"Basically, the kids were his life," said his wife, Betty Sue Davis. "He videoed all the games for 17 years for all the teams, not just the ones our kids were involved in."
He also negotiated to get baseball fields at the Villa Madonna Academy and helped start three teams to expand the Spartans league, Mrs. Davis said.
Dr. Davis, 69, of Crescent Springs, died Monday at his home. He was a retired dentist and an Army veteran.
He was a quiet person who loved music and reading and enjoyed a circle of close friends and family, Mrs. Davis said.
He liked to travel and his hobbies included photography, gardening and jewelry-making.
Other survivors include sons, Marty Davis of Dry Ridge, Greg Davis of Fort Mitchell, Ron Davis of Walton and Chuck Davis of Florence; a brother, Ken Davis of Covington; and 13 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati. Robert Baldridge, 42, of Covington, died Monday at Mercy Hospital Fairfield, Cincinnati.
Arrangements are pending at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington.
Bonnie Jean Chandler, 50, of Florence, died Saturday at her home. She was a marketing representative with Roeding Group, Walton, and a member of Belleview Baptist Church, Greater Cincinnati Insurance Women and Northern Kentucky Association of Insurance Women.
Survivors include a brother, Jack Chandler of Middletown, Ohio; and three nieces.

Clyde Connelly, 74, of Lakeside Park, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

Rebecca Michele Egan, 21, of Dayton, died Saturday at her home. She was a student at the University of Cincinnati, where she studied physical therapy, and a part-time employee with Sanmar Sportswear Distributors.
Survivors include her father, James Egan of Union; her mother and stepfather, Dianna and Todd Kohrs of Dayton; a sister, Elizabeth Brooks of Dayton; a brother, Brian Egan of Dayton; grandparents, Marian Young of New London, Ohio, and Paul and Lillian Kohrs of Dayton; great-grandmother, Mary Richards of Ashland, Ohio; and her fiance, Frank Shoemaker of Dayton.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Lillian Luzell Brown Elliott, 88, of Morning View, died Monday at Sunrise Nursing Center, Cincinnati. She was a retired farmer and a member of Walton Senior Citizens, Goshen Christian Church and the church Missionary Ladies. Her husband, Roy Elliott, died in 1970.
Survivors include daughters, Bonnetta Spicer of Pryse and Norma Clark of Cincinnati; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Walburg "Babe" Louise Wagner Lawler, 89, of Covington, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Irish Rovers, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Altar Society and Fifth Street Senior Citizens. Her husband, William J. Lawler, died in 1985.
Survivors include daughters, Sandra Reimer of Covington, Margaret Redman of Morning View and William Lawler of Independence; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Mass will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, Independence. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
John Mister, 53, of Norwood, Ohio, died Monday at Hospice of Cincinnati.

Charles H. Morgan Sr., 90, of Grant County, died at 6 a.m. Monday at Owenton Manor Nursing Home, Owenton. He was a retired machine operator with Formica Corp., Cincinnati, and an elder with Violet Ridge Church of Christ, Crittenden. He was a former Sunday school superintendent with the church.
Survivors include his wife, Grace McCain Morgan; a daughter, Helena Billiter of Elsmere; sons, Howard Morgan Jr. of Crittenden, James W. Morgan and Ray Morgan, both of Williamstown; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Corinth. Alice Dorothy Mueller, 75, of Florence, died July 15 at her home. She was an office manager with Newport Water Works.

Richard G. Traud, 90, of Cold Spring, died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday at St. Charles Care Center, Fort Wright. He was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local No. 24. He also was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, Forresters, St. Joseph Seniors, Holy Name Society and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts. His first wife, Ruth Bertram Traud, died in 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Davis Saelinger Traud; daughters, Mary Edwards of Highland Heights and Carol Mueller of Cold Spring; a son, Richard Traud of Fort Wright; a stepdaughter, Joyce Bankemper of California; stepsons, Ronald Davis of Piner and James Davis of Cold Spring; a brother, Justin Traud of Oregonia, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Ella Mae Wood, 76, of Carrollton, died Sunday at Waters of Clifty Fall Nursing Home, Madison, Ind. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Albert Penn Wood, died in 1994.
Survivors include sons, Jack Hurt of Madison, Ind., Clifton Hurt of Tipton, Ohio, and Allen P. Wood and Michael Earl Wood, both of Panama City, Fla.; a sister, Pansy Hooper of Louisville; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Carrollton.
