Mary Lou Weber, medical assistant, volunteer
Care and nurturing were defining qualities in Mary Lou Weber's life.
Her family said Mrs. Weber was always seeking new ways to give comfort to others - first as a war-time Red Cross hospital volunteer, then as a mother, and finally as a medical assistant in a Cincinnati plastic surgeon's office.
"She just liked patient contact and patient care," said her only child, Sue Ann Cole of Fort Thomas. "I think she really always wanted to be a nurse."
Mrs. Weber, 76, of Fort Thomas, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
Though Mrs. Weber never became a nurse herself, her daughter did.
