Molly Zilliox, fashion student, worked to 'follow her dreams'

When Molly Wagner Zilliox set her mind to do something, she did it. And did it well.

The Boone County High School graduate was studying fashion design at the University of Cincinnati. Her hard work landed her a summer job as a co-op student at a design firm in Chicago.

Ms. Zilliox, 20, of Florence, died Saturday in a fall outside her apartment in Chicago.

Her father, Ralph Zilliox of Florence, said the firm respected her work. "They said they had never heard a co-op speak up," he said. "She was doing things that they never expected from a co-op.. . .She had a real desire to follow her dreams, and she went at it with such vigor."
