Carmelo A. Buemi, 84, of Cold Spring, died Thursday at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. A retired railroad yard clerk, he was a member of the United Brotherhood of Railroad Workers; Knights of St. John, Covington; Senior Citizen Golf & Bowling Leagues; St. Stephen Court 1380; and Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include his wife, Angelina Auteri Buemi; a daughter, Phyllis Arnold of Deland, Fla.; a son, Paul Joseph Buemi of Lewisville, Texas; a sister, Marcella O'Brien of Newport; brothers, Joseph and Paul Buemi of Newport; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials are suggested to Carmen Buemi Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Fifth Third Bank, 2805 Alexandria Pike, Highland Heights, Ky. 41076.
Claude Chambers, 70, of Covington, died Friday at St. Elizabeth North Hospice in Covington. He was a loader for Cambridge Tile Co., Cincinnati, and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include brothers, Robert E. Chambers of Covington and Ray Chambers of Independence.
Services will be at noon Monday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington, with visitation from 10 a.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Ed Cryer, 51, of Newport, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. He was a retired group leader for Williamson Heat and Air Conditioning and a member of First Baptist Church, Newport.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Cryer; and a son, Brett Cryer of Fort Thomas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Alexandria Funeral Home, with visitation from 9 a.m. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.
Margurite Elizabeth Shea Davis, 89, of Latonia, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Hospice in Covington.
Her husband, Roger Davis, died in 1966; a son, Jim Davis, died in 1990. Survivors include daughters, Beverly I. Lynch and Carol Sue Waibe of Newport; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Arrangements are being handled by Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Medical Center Hospice, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.
Beatrice Mildred Hitch, 85, of Augusta, died Thursday at Mason Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Thurman Mosby Hitch, died in March 1999.
Survivors include sons, Ernest Fossett of Denver, Colo., James Maddox of Newport and Richard Hitch of Kentucky; and daughters, Selma Holleran of Foster and Margaret Maddox of Newport.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville, with visitation at noon Sunday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Butler.
Johnie W. Kinman, 96, of Dry Ridge, died Friday at Grant Manor Health Care Center in Williamstown. He was a retired employee of Spring Grove cemetery and a retired farmer. He was the oldest living member of Concord Baptist Church, Grant County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elzora Stewart Kinman, in 1970, and a daug hter, Christine Osborne.
Survivors include sons, Charles L. Kinman of Dry Ridge, Herman A. Kinman of Jonesville, William J. Kinman of Independence and Harold W. Kinman of Florence; a sister, Lena Raisor of Williamstown; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Concord Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
Mary Elizabeth Klein, 84, formerly of Covington, died Thursday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. She was a retired assembler for Wadsworth Watch Co., Dayton, and a member of St. Luke Methodist Church, Covington.
Survivors include sisters, Gloria Marie Tarvin of Grants Lick and L. Louise Schoff of Highland Heights.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, with visitation from noon. Entombment will be in Flora Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
David C. Lamb Jr., 74, of Fort Mitchell, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood.
He was a security guard at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and a retired stationary engineer for the Cognis Corp., formerly the Henkel Co., Cincinnati. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Lakeside Park; the Kissimmee Grotto; the Scottish Rite; Latonia Masonic Lodge 746 F&AM and Toastmasters International.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Burns Lamb; brothers, Charles Lamb of Mariemont, Ohio, James Lamb of Taylor Mill and Bill Lamb of Richwood; sisters, Rena Kennedy of Taylor Mill, Elizabeth Brannon of Cincinnati, Jean Scalf of Mainville, Ohio, and Ruth Petrik of Blue Ash, Ohio.

Donna Jean McClane, 60, of Cold Spring, died Thursday at St. Luke East Hospital in Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Cold Spring.
Survivors include her husband, Charles McClane; daughters, Sandra Elliott of Williamstown and Wendy McClane and Mindy McClane of Falmouth; sons, Thomas Coffey and Jeff Coffey of Falmouth and Randy Coffey of Silver Grove; sisters, Clara Heinlein of Columbus, Ohio, and Shirley Martin and Lillian Mount of Indianapolis; brothers, Fred Means of Dayton and Tom Means of Amelia, Ohio; stepdaughters, Joy Mosley of Butler and Barbara Hernandez of San Antonia, Texas; stepsons, Jack McClane of Cold Spring, James McClane of Butler and Charles McClane and Don McClane of Newport; 11 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick, with visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Johns Hill Cemetery, Highland Heights.
Minnie Frances Richie Mendoza, 70, of Highland Heights, formerly of Stone Mountain, Ga., and a native of Pendleton County, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. She was a retired stenographer.
Survivors include brothers, Donald Richie of Orlando, Fla., and Carl Richie of Highland Heights, and a sister, Pearl Yoakum of Falmouth.

Eva Barron Meyer, 85, of Highland Heights, died Thursday at Woodspoint Health Care Center in Florence. She was a retired waitress for Frisch's, Womack's and Lloyd's One East.
Her husband, Henry Meyer, died in 1991. Survivors include sons, Fred Meyer of Lakeside Park and Michael Meyer of Gresham, Ore.; a brother, Charles Barron of Cincinnati; and five grandchildren.

Alvera Rosenfield, 74, of Fort Thomas, died Thursday at Highlands of Fort Thomas nursing home. She was a homemaker and a self-employed bookkeeper. Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn McGinley of Camp Springs; sisters, Marian Cropper of Highland Heights, Helen Johnson of Bellevue and Ann Weller of California; and a brother, Harold Stadtmiller of Lexington.

William Sparks, 74, of Erlanger, died Thursday at Lakeside Place in Highland Heights. Arrangements are pending at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere.
Lawson "Pop" Taylor, 49, of Crittenden, died Thursday at his home. He was a landscape and scenery artist. He was a member of Lawrenceville Baptist Church and a past member of the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department and the Walton Lions Club.
Survivors include a son, Richie C. Taylor of Dry Ridge; daughters, Danessa Taylor-Holt of Dry Ridge and Bobbi Jeanne Taylor of Williamstown; brothers, Rich E. Taylor of Falmouth and G. Mike Taylor of Winchester; sisters, Donna Taylor of Crittenden and Fonda Spreher of Petersburg; his mother, Betty Lou Moore Taylor of Crittenden; a grandmother, Gladys Scott of Covington; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, with visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
