Floyd 'Sam' Kinman, built local landmarks
Floyd "Sam" Kinman spent most of his life working on some of the more impressive structures in Greater Cincinnati.
Riverfront Stadium - now known as Cinergy Field - and the Chiquita Building, both in Cincinnati, are two of the facilities he helped build.

"He was very kind and considerate; he loved children," Mrs. Kinman said. "I had seven brothers and sisters when we met, and he took to them right away. I knew he would be a good father."

Mr. Kinman, a native of Dry Ridge, was a labor foreman for 13 years for Turner Construction in Cincinnati. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he wasn't working, his wife said.
