Adelaide A. McCane, helped others
Even during her latter years in a nursing home, Adelaide A. McCane had the ability to make friends.
"She was a dynamic lady. . . well liked by everyone," said Mrs. McCane's sister, Anne Lange of Fort Mitchell.
Mrs. McCane, 88, formerly of Fort Mitchell and Washington, Mo., died Friday in St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

"She was a homemaker, and just such a caring person. She stayed busy all the time.
"She was a giving person, the kind who is always there with food or any help she could give when a family had a funeral," added Mrs. Lange.
Two years ago Mrs. McCane suffered a stroke, and she and her husband returned to Northern Kentucky to live at St. Charles Care Center, Fort Wright.
"She made a lot of friends at St. Charles," said Mrs. Lange.
