Rosemary Kiefer, legal secretary shared with church and charities
Rosemary Kiefer had two traits that endeared her to friends and family: she was hard- working and generous.
For many years, Miss Kiefer, a native of Northern Kentucky, was a legal secretary for attorney Ted Romer of Cincinnati. She retired about three years ago.
Miss Kiefer enjoyed sharing her benefits with her church and charitable organizations, said her younger sister, Jane Wischer of Covington.
"She was a very good person; she had lots of friends," Mrs. Wischer said. "We were close before I got married
and we were closer after my husband died a few years ago."
Miss Kiefer, 78, of Fort Thomas, died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas.
She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Little Sisters of the Poor, the St. Gemma Guild and Siena Seniors.
Miss Kiefer attended elementary school in Southgate and high school at the former LaSallette Academy in Covington.
She believed in helping poor people and enjoyed playing cards when she wasn't working, her sister said.
"She was very giving. She was soft-spoken," Mrs. Wischer said.
