Paul Hollis Boone
Services for Paul Hollis Boone, 73, of Log Cabin are scheduled
for 2 p.m. Friday at Foster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Athens.
Mr. Hollis(mistake) died August 23, 1999, in Athens.
He was born March 1, 1926, in Cisco to Peter Stephens Boone
and Nellie Milvinie Honea Boone. Formerly of Dallas, he had lived
in Henderson County since 1993. He served on the USS LST 754
in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of VFW Post
# 4376 in Trinidad.
Mr. Boone was proceeded in death by his wife, Johnnie Jean
Mitchell Boone; brother, Arles Edward "Tot" Boone of Riverside,
Calif; and grandson Shawn Paul Kees.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Dell Williams of Log Cabin; son
and daughter in law, John Paul and Margaret Ann Boone of Fort
Worth; daughters and son in law, Holli Jean and Travis Roland
Kees of Eustace and Kristi Lynelle Willard of Eustace; brother and
sisters in law, Olney Floyd and Jewel Boone of El Cajon, Calif., and
Grace Boone of Riverside, Calif; grandchildren, John Michael Boone,
Jeremiah Scott Boone, Jacob Daniel Boone, Joseph Hollis Boone,
Travis Roland Kees II, Aaron Hoke Kees, Landen Leo Willard and
Kasey Elizabeth Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Johnnie Jean, departed from this life on August 6, 1993. Born August
24, 1933 in Dallas. Survived by husband, Paul Hollis; beloved daughter,
Holli Jean Kees and son in law, Travis Roland of Eustace; beloved
daughter Kristi Willard and son in law, Gerald of Eustace; beloved son,
John Paul Boone and daughter in law, Ann of Fort Worth; grandchildren,
John Michael, Travis Roland, Jeremiah Scott, Jacob Daniel, Aaron Hoke,
Joseph Hollis, and Kasey Elizabeth. Memorial Services to be held at St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, Gun Barrel City on Monday, August 9, 1993 at
3:00 p.m. All of us will miss her courage, strength and laughter. In loving
memory from Linda and Mousie Tehee-Kees.

Shawn Paul, Grand Prairie. Survived by parents, Travis and Holli Kees,
Grand Prairie; brother, Travis Roland Kees II, Grand Prairie; Grandparents,
Wanda Matalois Kees, Dallas, Paul H. and Jean Boone, Malakoff.
Graveside Services 11 a.m. Monday, Restland Memorial Park.

Arles Boone
Services for Arles E. Boone, 73, will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at
Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary in Riverside. He died of heart
and lung failure Friday at Parkview Community Hospital in Riverside.
Friends may call from 5 until 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial
will be in Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside.
Mr. Boone, who was born in Rio Vista, Texas, moved to Riverside
from San Diego 30 years ago. He was a mechanic and truck driver
for the Teamsters Union in San Diego and Riverside for 40 years
before retiring in 1981.
He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Boone is survived by his wife, Grace; a daughter, Barbara
Curtis of Grand Terrance; two sons....[cut off]

Willis Lucille Aaron
Services for Willis Lucille Aaron, 82, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m.
Sunday at the Foster and Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Frank Upchurch officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Aaron died Friday morning at the Park Highland Nursing Home.
She was born Oct 5, 1915, in Navarro County, the daughter of Emmett
Clyde Boone.
Mrs. Aaron is survived by five daughters and two sons-in-law, Myrtle
McNew of Athens, Mary Jo and John Tanner of Athens, Ruth Faulkinbury
of Ardmore, Okla., Jackie Clement of Graham and Mary Ann and Larry
Thomas of Athens; two brothers Elvis Boone of Murchison and Emmett
Boone of Dallas; and one sister Agnes Grace of Ben Wheeler.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening.

FINAL RITES FOR E. C. BOONE HELD SATURDAY AT 2.

Funeral services for Emmett C. Boone, 71, who died Friday in the P. and
S. Hospital at Corsicana, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from
the Corley Chapel in Corsicana.

Internet was in the Mankin cemetery near Trinidad.

Survivors include his widow, of Corsicana; four sons, J. M. Boone, Kaufman,
Clyde Boone, Refugio, Elvis and Emmett Boone, both of Dallas; five daughters,
Mrs. Laura Crossley, Elmhouse, Mrs. R. L. Green, Kerens, Mrs. D. F. Robinson,
and Miss Agnus Boone, both of Corsicana, Mrs. Oscar Aaron, Athens; three
step-sons, D. F. Lewis, Mesquite, W. F. Lewis, Corsicana and Melton Lewis,
Dallas; four brothers, Ratcliffe Boone, Corsicana, Hatcher Boone, Blum, Dan
Boone, Kopperl, and Robert Boone, Fort Worth; one sister Mrs. Lizzie Holcomb,
Blum. 26 Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.

Loyd Maurice Boone
Loyd Maurice Boone, 70, of Maypearl, and better known to his
many friends as Bird Dog, passed away Saturday morning at Baylor
Medical Center of Ellis County in Waxahachie.
Services are today at 2 p.m. in the Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel
with Ronnine Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Maypearl Cemetery.
He was born in Cryer Creek, Texas, June 4, 1926, to Pierce and Cassie
Boone. Shortly after finishing his education, he was inducted into the USA
Army where he served his country in World War II. After returning from his
tour of duty in the army, he married Wilna Wiggins on Dec 10, 1949.
Mr. Boone was employed for 31 years with the Larkin Company. After
retiring, he became involved in farming and ranching.
He was a member of the Church of Christ for many years.
Mr. Boone is survived by his wife Wilna of Maypearl; a son and daughter
in law, Roy and Kathy Boone of Maypearl; a daughter and son in law, Diane
and Jimmy White of Maypearl; a sister, Ruth McNeely of Waxahachie; five
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Joe Cornwell, Joe Doskocil, David Eubanks, Rodney
Adams, Todd Lee, Ray Lynn Campbell, Jim Evans, and Wayne Bratcher.

Ruth McNeely services today
Ruth McNeely, 93, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 19, 1997,
apparently of a heart attack.
She was born on Jan 14, 1914, in Navarro County and had lived in
Ellis County all her life. Her parents were Pierce and Cassie Boone.
Ruth was a beautiful, loving person and will be greatly missed by her
family and friends.
Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church in Waxahachie. For many
years she was the owner and operator of the Dawson dry cleaning
establishment. She was an avid bowler, and has been a member of a
bowling league for 40 years.
Survivors are daughters, Ruth Ann Travers of Wills Point, Sue Wiser
of Waxahachie, Callie Morang and husband Roy, Debbie Hyles and
husband Joe of Grand Prairie, and Cindy Schulz and husband Johnny
of Waxahachie; and sisters in law, Wilna Boone of Maypearl, Gladys
Dawson and Laura Mae McNeely.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Pierce and Cassie Boone,
first husband Bill Dawson, second husband Joe McNeely, and a brother
Maurice (Bird Dog) Boone, on Dec 21, 1996.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 21, 1997, at 2 p.m. in the
Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ronnie Wiggins
officiating. Interment will follow in Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Roy Boone, Jimmy White, Johnny White, James White,
James Eubanks and Calvin Travers.
The family received family and friends at the funeral home on Sunday
from 3 to 5 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral
Home, 1201 W. Hwy 287 Bypass, 923-1595.

Obituaries
Elvis Lewis Boone
Services for Elvis Lewis Boone, 86, of Murchison wre held Saturday
at 10a.m. in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel in Athens.
Burial followed at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Mr. Boone died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, in East Texas Medical Center
Athens.
He was born June 16, 1913, in Trinidad to the late Emmett and Albina
Holcomb Boone.
Mr. Boone, who had been a resident of Murchison for 15 years, was
retired from P.A. Ros Machinery Company in Dallas and was a World
War II Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Arline Boone of Murchison;
daughters, Cornilia Annette Lamberson of Liberal Kan., Carolyn
Jeanette McCray; brother, Emmett Boone of Styx; sister, Sis Graves
of Ben Wheeler; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
