Charles Ronald Jordan
Charles Ronald Jordan, 63, of the Raleigh community, passed
away Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at his home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Dresdan cemetery with Bill
Honea officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home
in Blooming Grove.
Mr. Jordan was born Dec 24, 1935 in Blooming Grove.
He is survivied by his wife Wanda Jordan; sons and daughters
in law, Dale and LaDonna Jordan of Corsicana,
Mike and Twylah Jordan of Frost; daughter and sons in law,
Peggy and Darryl Shewbert of Dewight, Kan.;
brother and sister in law, Jerry and Katie Jordan of Navarro Mills;
sister and brother in law, Lynda and Gene Tribble of Navarro Mills;
seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Gladys Boone
Gladys Lewis Boone, 83, of Kerens, died Saturday in Mesquite
Hospital.
Funeral will be Monday, 10 a.m., Paschal Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. L. L. Conner officiating. Burial will be in Ashbury
Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Grace, Ben
Wheeler; three sons, Felton Lewis, Corsicana, J. M. (Mutt) Lewis,
Frisco, and John Emmett Boone, Kemp; one sister, Mrs. Agnes
McGlaun, Kerens; three stepsons, Jack Boone, Segoville, Elvis
Boone, Mesquite and Clyde Boone, Waco; two stepdaughters,
Mrs. Lucille Aaron, Athens and Dora Robinson, Corsicana;
12 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Becky Jenkins Haws
Beck Jenkins Haws, 40, of Frost, died May 24, 1994, at her
residence.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Griffin-Roughton
Funeral Home in Corsicana, with Grady Cashion
officiating. Burial will be in the Dresden Cemetery. She will lie in
state at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Blooming Grove
throughout Wednesday.
Surviviors include her husband, Kenneth Charles Haws of Frost;
one son, Joshua Lee Haws of Frost; one
daughter, Kendyl Rene Haws of Frost; a grandmother-in-law,
Dora Roberson of Corsicana; two brothers,
Danny Guy Jenkins of Chehalis, Wash., and Rodney Carl
Jenkins of Blooming Grove; her parents, Robert
Lee Jenkins and Nova Dee Sheppard Jenkins, both of
Blooming Grove; father and mother-in-law, Lavern
and J. B. Holifield of Corsicana; brothers and sisters-in-law,
Dale and Marty Haws Pecas, and Doyle and Joy
Haws of Corsicana, and five nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Steven Linder, Dr. Roy Elterman,
Hank Campbell, Freddy Bruner, Jerry Wells and
Dennis Shifflet.

Mrs. Minnie Jergins Boone 46 of Retreat died in Baylor
Hospital. Monday night. Funeral services will be
held from the Corley Chapel, Wednesday at 4 pm with
burial in Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. The rites will be
conducted by Rev. G. L. Johnson, pastor of First Assembly
of God church and Rev.W.T. Allmon, pastor of
the Cedar Creek Baptist church of which Mrs Boone was
a member. Surviving are her husband R. Boone a
daughter, Wanda Boone, Father, Lee Jergins, her brother
Marshall Jergins all of Corsicana, five sisters and a
number of nieces and nephews.

Boone Rites
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today at Crosier-Pearson
Chapel for Hatcher Boone, 72, of 202 1/2 South
Caddo Street, who died Saturday at Terrell.
He was a native of Corsicana, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Boone.
He married
Lizzie D. McBride July 7, 1920.
Survivors are four sons, Cecil of Fort Worth and Grady, Rudy
and Charley of Cleburne; two daughters,
Mrs. Mildred Price of Cleburne and Mrs. Evelyn Runnels
of Rio Vista; two brothers Robert Boone of Fort Worth and
Ratliff Boone of Corsicana; one sister Mrs.
Lizzie Holcomb of Blum and 11 grandchildren.
Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery with Rev. George Willis
officiating. Pallbearers were Clyde Head, Tom
Kirkpatrick, Delphus Runnels, Ronnie Runnels, Gary Butler
and Wilton Cherry.

Boone Rites Today
Services for Mrs. H. B. Boone were conducted at Dillon
Chapel at 4:30 p.m. today. Interment was in
Rose Hill cemetery with Rev. Charles Pitts officiating.
Mrs. Boone, a resident of Johnson County for fifteen years
passed away at her home, 610 S. Hillsboro
Street, Tuesday. She had been employed at Westway
Manufacturing Co.
Pallbearers were Otho Cochran, Ray White, Clead Cason,
W. W. Kirkpatrick, Thomas Kirkpatrick and G. R. Brown.
Survivors include her husband; parents, four sons, two
daughters, two brothers, three sisters and six grandchildren.

Grady Lee Boone
Services for Grady Lee Boone, 73, of Cleburne will be
conducted Sept. 24, at 1 p.m., in Crosier-Pearson-
Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bob
Fulkerson officiating. Burial will be in Baker Lain Cemetery
in Johnson County.
Pallbearers will be Gene Pack, Dearl Hasty, Dan Hasty,
George Lain, Tony Anderson and Charlie Matthews.
Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Goodman, James Calahan,
Robert Calahan, Curtis Rives, Jiles Adams and
Tommy Lain.
Boone died Sept 22 at his residence.
He was born May 4, 1921, in Kopperl, the son of Hatcher
and Lizzie B. McBride Boone. His wife Hazel L.
Boone, preceded him in death March 3, 1994.
Boone was retired as a welder. He was a member of New
Hope Baptist Church in Johnson County.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Hasty of Cleburne;
one son Wilton Cherry of Cleburne; one sister,
Evelyn Runnels of Rio Vista; five grandchildren and 12
great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield
Funeral Home, today from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mildred Marie Felts
Graveside services for Mildred Marie Felts, 66, of Cleburne
will be conducted today at 2 p.m., in Rose
Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. George Willis officiating.
Mrs. Felts died Oct 30 at her residence.
She was born June 6, 1925, in Bosque County, the daughter
of Hatcher and Lizzie Dee McBride Boone.
Mrs. Felts retired as a machine operator for Walls Industries
in Cleburne after 20 years of service. She
was a member of Blessed Hope Church in Cleburne and had
been a resident of Cleburne most of her life.
Survivors include oneson, Gary Butler of Gainsville, Fla;
one brother, Grady Boone of Cleburne; one sister,
Mrs. Evelyn Runnels of Rio Vista; and two grandchildren.
Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.

Rudy Boone
Services for Rudy Boone, 50, of Route 2, Box 83, who died
Wednesday at Johnson County Memorial
Hospital, were held today at 1 p.m. in the Crosier-Pearson-
Chapel with the Rev. Farris Whitehead officiating.
Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery with Ronnie Runnels,
Delphus Runnels, Marshall Ellis, O.B. Hix, C. O. Hanna
and Bill Skinner serving as pallbearers.

Charlie Wayne Boone
Charlie Wayne Boone, 30, 1109 North Walnut Street, a resident
of Cleburne most of his life, died Sunday afternoon at Eagle
Mountain Lake of accidental electrical shock while on a fishing
trip at the lake.
He was a native of Bosque County, son of Hatcher and Lizzie
Dee McBride Boone.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters Donna Dee, Terry Sue and
Charline Boone of Cleburne; three brothers, Grady, Cecil and R.
Boone of Cleburne; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Price of Cleburne
and Mrs. Evelyn Runnels of Rio Vista.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Crosier-Pearson Chapel
with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
