Howard Beeson, Florence, businessman, musician

Howard T. Beeson of Florence was a businessman who worked to ensure others in the community enjoyed his level of success.

Among Mr. Beeson's ventures were the former Finen and Beeson Insurance Agency in Covington and the former Flavorite Bakery in Park Hills.

When Mr. Beeson opened Flavorite Bakery in a bend of Dixie Highway, it became something of a Park Hills landmark.

'A sign said 'donuts' in huge, big letters,' said Mrs. Beeson. 'Everybody in Northern Kentucky would go in and buy a sack of them.'
