Mary Ann Schutzman, mother and volunteer
Mary Ann Schutzman was a giving and loving person.
"She could be counted on to really help," said her daughter, Roseanne Schutzman of Phoenix, Ariz. "She was a very loving person."
Mrs. Schutzman, 65, of Fort Thomas, died Wednesday at Highlands of Fort Thomas.
She was a homemaker and a volunteer at Madonna House in Fort Mitchell and the New Hope Family Life Center in Florence.
Mrs. Schutzman was always involved in her community, her daughter said. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and wallpapering, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Other survivors include her husband, Joseph S. Schutzman; sons, Joseph A. Schutzman of Villa Hills and Michael Schutzman of Crestview; a sister, Yonsia Meyers of Fort Thomas and five grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Fort Thomas.
A reception will follow in the church undercroft. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.

Ruby P. Baxley, 71, of Bromley, died at 12:01 a.m. Friday at her home. She was owner of the Keyhole Lounge in Bromley.
A son, Elton "Butch" Baxley, died in 1972. Survivors include a son, Michael Baxley of Petersburg; a sister, Mae Shields of Hebron; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bullittsburg Cemetery, Burlington. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Jeanette Mary Collett, 52, of Florence, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. She was a clerk with Drug Emporium, and a member of St. Paul Church, Florence, where she was a choir member and a lector.
Survivors include brothers, Richard Collett of Budd Lake, N.J., James Collett of Crescent Springs, and Joseph Collett and Robert Collett, both of Florence.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Church Capital Campaign Fund, 7301 Dixie Highway, Florence, Ky. 41042.
Celesta Douglas, 87, of Newport, died Friday at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. She was a production technician with Liberty Cherry Co., Latonia.
Survivors include a sister, Sue Ravenscraft of Newport; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Eleanor K. Fowler, 84, of Newport, died at 10:35 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, George Fowler, died in 1994. Survivors include daughters, Gayle Voet and Diane Whalen, both of Cincinnati; a son, George Fowler of Newport; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Newport. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Marjorie Louise Brady "Boots" Fulmer, 67, of Covington, died at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. "Stump" Fulmer; sons, Del Ball and Michael Fulmer, both of Covington, and Robert J. Fulmer Jr. of Independence; daughters, Linda McQueen and Robin Fulmer, both of Covington, Debbie Butler of Edgewood and Allora Ransom of Taylor Mill; brothers, John Brady of Chase, Mich., Hap Brady of Union, Pete Brady of Elsmere and Tom Brady of Latonia; sisters, Doris Jasper of Fort Thomas and Elaine Butler of Taylor Mill; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, with visitation from 11 a.m. and burial in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Tonya Lynn Honaker, 31, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Northern Kentucky, died Wednesday at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond K. Honaker; a son, Daniel Honaker of Omaha; her parents, Edmond and Peggy Davenport of San Antonio; and a brother, Edmond Davenport Jr. of San Antonio.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Robert Lee Kennedy, 68, of Latonia, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home. He was a retired self-employed drywall hanger and a veteran of the Marine Corps.
Survivors include a son, Robert D. Kennedy of New Hampshire; daughters, Donna Fargo and Anelda Ann Casper, both of Long Beach, Calif.; sisters, Betty Wiley of Latonia and Helen Patton of Erlanger; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at noon Monday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Dustin Thomas Moore, the son of Jonathan and Angela Marie Ferrell Moore of Owenton, was stillborn Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
Other survivors include a sister, Ashleigh Breann Moore of Owenton; grandparents, Carol Ferrell of Owenton and Carl and Elizabeth Moore of Owenton; and great-grandparents, Melba Mount of Ohio and Herschel Combs Sr. of Owenton.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Monterey Masonic Cemetery.

Betty Schlesinger, 85, of Park Hills, died at 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
She was a homemaker and a retired tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service, Covington. She was a member of St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright, and the church Bereavement Choir.
Her husband, Sylvester T. Schlesinger, died in 1978. Survivors include daughters, Analee Flanagan and Mary K. McMurry, both of Fort Wright, and Christina Schlesinger at home; a brother, Theodore Amshoff Sr. of Louisville; and one grandchild.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes Church. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Monday. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell. Eleanor C. Slayback, 76, of Union, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a housekeeper with Summit Hills Country Club, Crestview Hills, and a member of Big Bone Methodist Church, Boone County.
Her husband, Otis E. Slayback, died in 1982. Survivors include a son, Dan Slayback of Florence; daughters, Catherine Henson of Hebron, Sharon Notestine of Dry Ridge and Judy Parker of Burlington; sisters, Elizabeth Feldhaus of Maysville and Alice Piner of Big Bone; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Vivian Stewart Stadtmiller, 75, of Lexington, formerly of Owen County, died Thursday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
She was a homemaker, a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Owen County.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Stadtmiller; a daughter, Phyllis S. Manale-Choina of Metairie, La.; a sister, Nadine Goldsberry of Owenton; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton, with visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 1885 Dixie Highway, Suite 250, Fort Wright, Ky. 41011.
