Jean Hils, worked with Cub Scouts
Jean C. Horstman Hils, 71, was a dedicated wife and mother, who spent many years as a Cub Scout den mother and cafeteria worker at Sacred Heart school in Bellevue.
Her two sons were Cub Scouts, so Mrs. Hils and her husband got involved, too, organizing camping trips and participating in pine-box derbies and fairs.
"She was the most wonder ful wife and mother in the world," said her husband, Rudolph "Bud" Hils.
Mrs. Hils, of Highland Heights, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas.
She grew up in Covington and went to Holmes High School, then worked for several years at Guardian Bank in Cincinnati.
She married
Bud Hils in 1950.
The couple had two children, whom they raised in the Dayton-Bellevue area.

Mrs. Hils also enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.
