Leonard Logan III
Funeral services for Leonard Logan III, 26, formerly of Olive Hill, who died Friday, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Leslie A. Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill by the Rev. Bob Donovan and the Rev. Lewis Ader. Burial will be in Olive Hill Memorial Gardens. The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 6 p.m. today.

Leonard Logan, 87
Leonard R. Logan, 87, of Rubyville, died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at a Clyde nursing home.
Born Nov. 4, 1909, in Greenup, Ky., a son of the late Ernest O. and Elizabeth Evans Logan, he was a retired employee of the former Empire-Detroit Steel Corporation, a member of the Minford congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and a Jehovah's Witness minister for 50 years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Clarcie Ratliff Logan, Aug. 4, 1995, he is survived by four sons, Luther E. Logan of Herando, Fla., Delmar "Perk" Logan of Belleview, Fla., Bobby Lee Logan of Ocala, Fla., and Roger W. Logan of Bellevue; a daughter Sharon Kay Wilson of Chillicothe; three sisters, Louise Brown of Los Angeles, Calif., Avanelle Williams of Columbus and Diane Logan of Louisville, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Lawrence and John Logan; and three sisters, Madelyn Payne, Naomi Mudd and Rosetta Lute VanHorn.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville, with Randy Fraley, minister, officiating, and interment in Sunset Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and form 1 to 2 p.m. Friday.

Lillian Logan, 89
Lillian M. Logan, 89, of Greenup, Ky., died Tuesday, March 2, 2003, at a Flatwoods, Ky., nursing home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Burke, Ky., a daughter of the late James L. and Missouri Ison Maddox. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Parsons and Elwood Logan.
Surviving are stepsons, Bob and Bronston Logan; stepdaughters, Betty Lewis, Janet Johnson, Georgiann Kautz and Carol Plummer; 16 stepgrandchildren; 33 stepgreat-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup with interment in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Logan
Lorene May Logan, 82, of Tollesboro (Ky.) Route 1, died Monday, March 12, 1990, in a Maysville, Ky., hospital.
Born May 31, 1907, in Poplar Flats Ky., a daughter of the late Marcus D. and Stella Duzan May, she had employed in the Lewis County school system, and was a homemaker. She was a 40-year member of Concord Lodge 504 Order of Eastern Star, and attended Bethel Methodist Church in Ribolt, Ky.
She married
Homer Logan on Dec. 26, 1929, in Cleveland.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Leroy Logan of Winchester, and Kenneth Logan of Flemingsburg, Ky.; three daughters, Genevieve Highfield of Vanceburg, (Ky.) Route 2, Shirley Hardymon of Vanceburg, and Barbara Thomas of Tollesboro; a brother, Vernon May of Tollesboro Route 1; two sisters, Mildred Atherton of Maysville Route 3, and Thelma Earheart of Tollesboro; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Service is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with the Rev. Tim Peek officiating, and interment in Hamilton Mawk cemetery in Tar Fork, Ky.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the service Wednesday.

Margaret Logan
Margaret L. Shover Logan of New Boston, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 6, 1997.
She was born in Greenup, Ky., on July 30, 1904 to the late William and Louisa Allen Shover, Margaret was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. She was a devoted mother to her 14 children; five of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by nine living children, Avanelle Clark of Long Island, N.Y., Helen Cooper of Florida, Marcella Newman, Yvonne Kirsch and Ruth Logan all of New Boston, Ralph Logan, Raymond Logan, Charles Logan, all of Springfield and Donald Logan of Wheelersburg, 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Margaret was married
to the late James Edward Logan on August 9, 1919. Together they created a nourishing environment for their family, filled with hard work, love and laughter. She was a devoted Christian and loving mother, not only to her family, but to everyone who had the experience of knowing her.
Although our cherished mother and grandmother is no longer here, the memories of her lifetime will be comfort to us always. Her Christian charity and virtues will live forever in the heart of her family.
Funeral services were held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Church of God in New Boston with the Rev. Acy Gibson officiating, and interment in Sunset Gardens.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Pennington-Bishop Funeral Home in New Boston.

Marshall Logan
Death at 9:15 a.m. Friday claimed Marshall Logan, 84, at his home in Tygart Valley. He had been ill with pneumonia. Mr. Logan was a large land owner, was in the general store business for years and had lumber cutting and hauling contracts.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Amy Logan and the following children: Edward Logan grocer, Mabert Road, Portsmouth, Blaine, George, Marshall Jr., Elwood, Mrs. Bess Kotcamp and Mrs. Addie [unreadable], Eldean, Greenup high school student, Mrs. Sarah Sizemore, Raceland and Mrs. Pearl Harr, Macelonia, Mich.
Funeral services will be from the home at ten a.m. Sunday with burial in Logan cemetery on Little White Oak.

Stomach Ills Cause Death of Mrs. M. A. Logan
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary Ann Logan, 54, will be conducted this evening at 7:30 o'clock from the Gardner funeral home and the body will be shipped to Flora, ILL, for burial. Reb. Howe will officiate.
Mrs. Logan died at 11:05 p. m. on December 16, from dilation of the stomach. She had been ill for weeks.
Mrs. Logan was the wife of Sherman Logan. To that union were born six children, B. F. Logan, Flora, Ill.; Gilbert B. Logan, Pekin, Ill.; Mrs. Estelle Collard, Mrs. Bessie Banks, and Miss Mary Logan and Theodore Logan, Vincennes; four brothers -- James Dyer, Benjamin Dyer, Neal Dyer and Ezra Dyer, all residents of Kentucky.

Mrs. Mary Logan
Vanceburg, Ky. - Funeral services are to be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at the Quincy Christian Church for Mrs. Mary Logan, 83, a former resident of Quincy who died Thursday in Bethesda, Md.
She suffered a heart attack and was dead on arrival at a Bethesda Hospital.
Mrs. Logan was born in Quincy Aug. 11, 1878, a daughter of the late Luke and Louella Perkins Howland.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas of Miami, Fla., and Charles of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Weems of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Lillian Davis of Bethesda and three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Lowder, Mrs. Nettie Chapman and Mrs. Ethel Anderson, all of Quincy.
Rev. David Vaughn is to officiate at the services with burial in the Howland cemetery under direction of Plummer Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Monday.

Mrs. Eslie Logan
Mrs. Mary M. Logan, 58, wife of Eslie Logan, 3124 Walnut st., died at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Portsmouth General Hospital after a year's illness. She entered the hospital Dec. 23.
Mrs. Logan was born Dec. 25, 1890 in Greenup County.
Surviving are seven sons, Milford of Cleveland; Homer D.(sic.), 3059 Walnut st.; Boyd, 3515 Gallia st.; Gilbert, 1610 Mound st.; Bruce 3039 Gallia st.; Alfred, 3124 Walnut st. and Clinton of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Avanelle Howard, 1832 Fifth st., and Miss Jacqueline Logan at home; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Kitchen, 3166 Walnut st. and Mrs. Emma Cyrus, 3038 Walnut st. and 18 grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Logan was a member of a Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mabert Road Christian Baptist Church with Rev. Hollie Conley officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The body will be taken from Emrick Funeral Home to the residence at noon today.

Mary K. Logan
Mary K. Logan, 90, of Brian Court, Columbus, formerly of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, Oct. 31, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Nov. 3, 1901, at Brushart, Ky., a daughter of the late Crayton and Ida Parsons Keeney. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She was a member of the Christian Church at Brushart and was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Logan, Feb. 3, 1956. They were married
Dec. 3, 1917, at Portsmouth.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorena Cooper, with whom she resided; son-in-law and daughter David and Lousie Webb of Columbus; granddaughter, Connie Webb of Columbus; grandson and his wife, Gary and Tammy Webb of Carroll; and a great-granddaughter, April Webb of Carroll.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m.Tuesday at Harrison Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with Dr. Gary Exman officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and an hour before the service Tuesday.

Mayme Logan, 84, Warnock resident
Mayme Abdon Logan, 84, of Warnock, Ky., died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at a South Shore, Ky., nursing center.
Born Dec., 27, 1910, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late Harvey and Amanda Craft Abdon, she was a member of the Kehoe (Ky.) Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Logan, she is survived by two sons, Harvey Logan and Kenneth Logan, both of Ashville; five daughters, Elnora Morris of Williamsport, Hazel Brown of Lloyd, Ky., Patsy Best and Evelyn Lambert, both of Leigh High Acres, Fla., and Sue Wolfe of Greenup, Ky.; a brother Kenneth Abdon of Load, Ky.; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Jordan.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, with the Rev. Tom Jackson officiating, and interment in Brown cemetery in Warnock.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.
