Glenda L. Riley, 64, urged loving beauty, living life
Just before Glenda L. Riley of Dayton died, she had these words for her family:
"Take the time to enjoy all the beauty of the world and all it has to offer," she wrote in a diary. "Look at the beauty of a rainbow after the storm, the songs from the birds and the sweet fragrance from the flowers.
"Life is great. Just love it and live it."
Mrs. Riley was a musician, writer and artist. But she said her greatest accomplishment was raising 11 children with her husband, John E. Riley Sr.
"I ask that my family hold on to the memories and to love each other," she wrote.
