Family was first for Wayne Huff Sr.
Wayne A. Huff Sr. of Edgewood was a dedicated family man.
"His family came first," said his wife, Vickie Huff of Edgewood. "He was the best father. He loved being with his children and grandchildren."
Mr. Huff, 51, died at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a meat cutter for Winn Dixie, Florence, and an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Huff also was a member of Cherry Grove United Methodist Church, Taylor Mill Moose Lodge and Ralph Fulton VFW Post.
He enjoyed traveling and reading.
Other survivors include his wife; sons, Wayne Huff Jr. of Douglasville, Ga., and Brian Huff of Edgewood; daughters, Christine Gentry of Temple, Ga., Tammy Crawford of Florence
and Jennifer Huff and Melinda Huff, both of Edgewood; a sister, Sandra Adkins of Latonia; a brother, Joseph Huff of Cincinnati; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 2936 Vernon Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.
Charlie Thomas Adams, 84, of Warsaw, died at 6:16 a.m. Tuesday at his residence. He was a retired farmer and a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church, Owen County.
Survivors include his wife, Pansy Ellis Adams; a daughter, Ellen Jacobus of Warsaw; a son, Melvin Adams of Warsaw; a sister, Vergie Adams Sanders of Warsaw; brothers, Buford Adams of Warsaw and Samuel Dora Adams of Carrollton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery.
Michael G. Bellamy Jr., 16, of Cincinnati, formerly of Northern Kentucky, died June 18 in Cincinnati.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Marcia and David Braun of Monroe, Mich.; brothers, Jason Bellamy of Monroe, Mich., David Braun of Cheviot, Ohio, Daniel Braun of Amelia, Ohio, and Jacob Shannon of Felicity, Ohio; a sister, Melissa Beaty of Monroe, Mich.; and grandparents, Dolores Braun of Dent, Ohio, and Norman and Mary Beaty of Stearns. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.
Emerson Brown Jr., 66, of Latonia, died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North Hospice, Covington.
Arrangements are pending at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia.
Allen Eugene Deck, 59, of Covington, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a retired inspector for General Electric.
Survivors include his wife, Harriet Deck; a son, Allen David Deck of Covington; daughters, Kay Hankins of North Vernon, Ind., Mona Dallas of Florence, Tracy Howard of Walton and Patty Stephens of Covington; a stepson, Travis Stephens of Covington; sisters, Willa Martin of Clearwater, Fla., and Fay Rogers of Burlington; a brother, Ray Deck of Florence; and 17 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Belleview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Belleview Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to charity.
Jerolyn Rose Ellis, 71, of Verona, died at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday at her residence. She was a retired typist for the Kroger Co., Cincinnati. Her husband, Harry R. Ellis, died in 1994.
Survivors include her mother, Gayle Reed of Georgetown, Ohio; a sister, Joy Surhaski of Georgetown, Ohio; and a brother, Donald Reed of Tulsa, Okla.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Warsaw Cemetery.
Edna Josephine Goode, 93, of Cincinnati, died Wednesday at Clifton Villa Nursing Home, Cincinnati. She was a retired secretary for Travel Consultants, Cincinnati.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:05 p.m. Friday at Mother of God Church, Covington. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimers Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. Linnemann Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.
Roderick Charles Grall, 81, of Park Hills, died June 9 at Crestview Parke Care Center in Cincinnati. He retired after 37 years as a masseur for Federated Department Stores in Cincinnati. He was a member of Central Parkway Church of God in Cincinnati and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Grall; a stepdaughters, Norma Jean Gibson of Latonia and Elizabeth Lopez of New Jersey.
A family memorial will be held at a later date. The body was donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati. Memorials are suggested to Bethany House Services, 1841 Fairmount Ave., Cincinnati, 45214.
Estelle B. Howell, 82, of Corinth, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his nephew in Corinth.
He was a farmer and native of Grant County. He was a member of the Stringtown Christian Church in Grant County.
Survivors include a nephew, Billy Joe Howell of Corinth.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be there from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.
Frances Ellen Marshbanks, 79, of Covington, died at 9:20 a.m Wednesday at Dillsboro Manor Nursing Home, Dillsboro, Ind. She was a homemaker and a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Covington.
Survivors include her husband, Woodrow Wilson Marshbanks; a son, William Thomas Marshbanks of Florence; a daughter, Betty Ann Townsend of Verona; sisters, Annabelle Short and Elizabeth Pendleton, both of Miamisburg, Ohio; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Connley Bros. Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Old Paint Lick Cemetery, Paint Lick.
Quynh Pham, 99, of Covington, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Church, Covington.
Survivors include sons, An Tran of Covington and Binh N. Tran of Orange County, Calif.; daughters, Phi T. Tran, Huyen T. Tran and Tu T. Tran, all of Vietnam, and Dien T. Tran of Orange County, Calif.; 44 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Paul W. Pickett, 87, of Independence, died Wednesday at the Highlands of Ft. Thomas nursing home.

Dorsie Shepherd, 78, formerly of Mays Lick, died at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday at Robertson County Health Care Facility, Mt. Olivet. She was a homemaker and a member of Formans Chapel United Methodist Church, Mason County. Her husband, Norse Reese Shepherd, died in 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Beal of Xenia, Ohio; sisters, Bessie Thomas and Lottie Bailey, both of Georgetown, Ohio; brothers, Delbert Wade of Morehead and Thomas Wade of Maine; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Harlan Webster, 75, of Taylor Mill, died at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

Beverly Ann Ziegler, 56, of Decatur, Ind., formerly of Ft. Thomas, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Ziegler; a son, Brian Ziegler of Cleves, Ohio; a brother, Ronald McAdams of North Bend, Ind.; and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.
