Mrs. Emma S. Fraley
Last rites for Mrs. Emma Shover Fraley, 67, who passed away at her home at Walsh early Thursday, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bennett’s Chapel. Rev James H. Adams and Robert Meenach will officiate and burial will be in the chapel cemetery.
Until the funeral hour, the body will be at the home of a son, Sherman Fraley of Fullerton. Five children, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren are living, her husband Noah Fraley, and 10 children having preceded her in death.

Hazel M. Harr Fraley
1914-2004
Hazel M. Harr Fraley, 89, of South Shore, Ky., died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born June 8, 1914, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late Benjamin H. Harr and Mary Anna Lawson Harr.
She attended the former South Shore Pilgrim Holiness Church and was a homemaker and housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman H. Fraley, on Sept. 1, 1993; two daughters, Wanda Saylor and Louise Fraley; three brothers, James E. Harr, Thurman E. Harr and William F. Harr; and one sister, Stella Warnock.
Surviving are two sons, Charles B. Fraley of South Shore and James S. Fraley of Warner Robin, Ga.; three daughters, Shirley Hawkins of Fort Wayne, Ind., Stella E. Fraley of South Shore and Judy A. Villa of Fredericksburg, Va.; four brothers, Walter Harr of South Shore, Carl B. Harr and Brady P. Harr, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Charles Raymond Harr of Zephryhills, Fla.; one sister, Garnet Pollitt of South Shore; 15 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with the Rev. Mark Baer officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Ky.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Noah Randolph Fraley
Noah Randolph Fraley, was born July 5, 1875, and died July 5, 1930 on his 55th birthday, in his home at Beechy, Ky. Death was due to heart trouble. Mr. Fraley, who was well known throughout that section, was united in marriage to Emma Shover, on April 4, 1897. To this union 15 children were born. Eight preceded him in death. He leaves his wife and the following children: Joseph, Sherman, Ruby, Noah Jr., Virgil, Arnold at home, Mrs. Joseph Allen of Beechy, Ky.; the following brothers and sisters; William T. Fraley, Johannasburg, Mich.; James Fraley, Fire Brick, Ohio; Mrs. Laura Lawson, 2330 Eighth street. He also leaves a host of other friends and relatives. He united with the Holiness church at McCall, Ky., and was a member for more than 14 years. He later joined the Enterprise Baptist church of Beechy, Ky. Funeral services were held in the Enterprise church at 2:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Robert Meenach conducting the services. Interment was made in the Harr cemetery at Beauty Ridge, Ky.

Sherman Fraley, 83, press operator
Sherman H. Fraley, 83 of South Shore, (Ky.) Route 1, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993, at home after a long illness,
Born Jan. 19, 1910, in Greenup Co., Ky., a son of the late Noah R. and Sara Shover, Fraley, he was retired press operator for the General Refactories, retired South Shore policeman and a Kentucky colonel.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Harr Fraley, who he married
Aug. 4, 1934; two sons, Charles B. Fraley of South Shore and James S. Fraley of Warner Robbins Ga.; four daughters, Wanda M. Saylor, Shirley A. Fairchild and Stella E. Fraley, all of South Shore, and Judy A. Villa of Moline, Ill; a brother, Noah A. Fraley of Westfield, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter Louise Fraley; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with the Rev. Wilford Maddix and the Rev. Bill Riggs officiating, and interment in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Ky.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. Saturday.

Frazee
Garrison, Ky. – Services for Mrs. Addie Mae Frazee, 75, of Garrison, Rt. 1, who died Saturday at Wurtland Manor Nursing Home after a long illness, were to be held Today at Brushart Christian Church, of which she was a member.
Rev. Gary Franklin was to officiate at the service and burial was to be in Kehoe Cemetery.
A Greenup County native, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. in 1977.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Greene of Garrison Rt. 1; a brother, Elwood Logan of Greenup; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Kotcamp of Springfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Eldeane Harris of Carey, Ohio; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore.

Mrs. Nathan Frazie
Della Frazie, 76, of Wheelersburg Rt. 3 died Sunday at Malone’s Nursing Home following an extended illness.
She was a member of Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Nathan; four sons, Russell of Ironton, Earl of Dayton, Virgil of Wheelersburg Rt. 3 and Ralph of Sciotoville; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Johnson, Mrs. Bessie Belcher and Mrs. Doris Miller, all of Sciotoville, and Mrs. Wanda Day of Filmore Lane, Wheelersburg; a brother, Nathan Brown of Quincy, Ky.; 31 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Conaway and Donald Pegram officiating. Interment is to be in Memorial Burial park.

Frazee
Henry Riley Frazee, 72, of Bonser Run Rd. Sciotoville, Rt. 4, died Wednesday at Southern Hills Hospital after a long illness.
A Greenup County, Ky., native and a member of Bonser Run Christian Baptist Church, he was a retired brickmason foreman at the former Empire-Detroit Steel Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Melissa Logan Frazee; a son, Michael of Washington D.C.; three daughters, Faye Sherman of Wheelersburg, Charlotte Hardy of Lancaster and Teresa Browning of Sciotoville; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services are planned at 10 a.m. Saturday at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with Rev. Frank Smith officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park.

Frazee
Malissa Jane Logan Frazee, 74, of Bonser Run, Sciotoville Route 4, died Monday at home after suffering an apparent heart attack.
A native of Greenup County, Ky., she was a member of Bonser Run Christian Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Riley Frazee, Nov. 24, 1982, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Faye) Sherman of Wheelersburg, Mrs. Bob J. (Charlotte) Hardy of Lancaster, and Mrs. Billy (Teresa) Browning of Oxford; three brothers, Otho Logan of West Portsmouth, Ralph Logan of Columbus; five sisters, Mary Bellamy of Dayton, Norma Springier of Palm Bay, Fla.; Kathryn Cooper and Delphi Hignite, both of Portsmouth, and Mamie Moulton of Lucasville; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with the Rev. Michael Bender officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and an hour before the service Thursday.

Milton J. Frazee
Milton J. Frazee, 59, of Bonser Ave., Sciotoville Rt. 4, was pronounced dead on arrival at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Portsmouth General Hospital after becoming suddenly ill at his home. Death was attributed to a heart condition.
Born Oct. 4, 1896, in Greenup County, Ky., he was a son of William M. and Millie Lambert Frazee. June 1, 1919 he was married
to Ethyl Flake Frazee, who survives.
Also surviving are three brothers, Louis Frazee of Hike, Ky., Clyde Frazee of Stockdale and Henry Frazee of Sciotoville, and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Bush of New Boston and Mrs. Frances Pence of Quincy, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Mr. Frazee had resided in the Sciotoville community the last 21 years and was employed as a crain follower by Detroit Steel Corp.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Enterprise Baptist Church in New Boston with Rev. H. O. Logan officiating. Burial will be made in Floral Hill Memory Gardens under the direction of Gill Funeral Home.

Frazie
WHEELERSBURG – Nathan G. Frazie, 97, of Allentown, died Wednesday at Greenbriar Convalescent Center here.
A native of Greenup County, Ky., he was a retired employee of Empire-Detroit Steel Corp. and was a member of Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Della Brown Frazie, he is survived by four sons, Russell Frazee of Ironton, Virgil and Earl Frazie, both of Wheelersburg, and the Rev. Ralph Frazie of Portsmouth; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Johnson of Sciotoville, Mrs. Besie Belcher and Mrs. Doris Miller, both of Sciotodale and Mrs. Wanda Day of Wheelersburg; a half brother Virgil Frazee of South Point; a half sister, Mrs. Olive Ross of Illinois; 31 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Service is to be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harrison Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Redford Meadows and the Rev. Ralph Frazie officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the service hour Friday.

Mrs. Anna Feist Frische
One of the city’s best known residents, Mrs. Anna Feist Frische wife of William Frische, of 1815 Eleventh street, passed away at her home at 12:50 this afternoon after a long illness of complications.
She had been ailing for several years but been bedfast only a week. Her condition had been dangerous for several days.
Mrs. Frische was born near Wheelersburg, this county, March 14, 1879, a daughter of John and Rose Frische. Her young life was spent near her birthplace and after her marriage nineteen years ago, she located in Portsmouth where she made it her home until death.
Surviving are husband, William Frische, three sisters, Miss Caroline Feist of this city, Sister Simplica of St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, Sister M. Caroline of St. Aloysius Academy, New Lexington, O and brother Will Feist of Dogwood Ridge.
Mrs. Frische was a member of Holy Redeemer church for some years. She had made a legion of friends since coming to Portsmouth and they will learn of her death with great sorrow.
Funeral services will be held probably Friday morning from Holy Redeemer church.
