Darlene Rayborn, 61, department supervisor
Darlene Simpson Rayborn, 61, of Covington, who worked 27 years in the Campbell County Human Resources Department and retired as a supervisor, died Saturday of cancer at St. Elizabeth South Hospital.
She was a member of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church.
"She had a heart of gold, " said Mrs. Rayborn's son, Tony Simpson of Covington. "Everybody who knew my mom loved her.
"She was a people person. She had a great personality."
Mrs. Rayborn retired early to take care of a relative.
She enjoyed camping and entertaining her grandchildren.
"She was a religious woman and liked going to church, " said her son. "She was just a great person. You never met a better person."
Other survivors include a daughter, Dena Rump of Covington; two brothers, Marcus Cook Jr. of Independence and Charles Cook of Union, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Covington.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
Irene Ervin Bell, 83, of Taylor Mill, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
She was a retired receptionist with Weight Watchers Silver Lake, Erlanger, and a member of Nicholson Christian Church. Her husband, Hugh D. Bell Jr., died in 1982. A daughter, Beverly Taylor, died in 1992.
Survivors include sons, Hugh D. Bell Jr. of Ryland Heights and Glenn C. Bell of Taylor Mill; a daughter, Janet L. Beaver of Taylor Mill; a sister, Loretta Norris of Fort Thomas; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Nicholson Christian Church, 19070 Walton-Nicholson Road, Independence, Ky. 41051.
Arnold "Buck" Ambrose Easton, 86, of Crittenden, died Monday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Easton; daughters, Janet Anderson and Kathy Caminiti, both of Burlington, Joan Carey of Florence and Linda Berkmeier of Crittenden; a sister, Sally Praether of Florence; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery, Florence. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
Deborah Lynn Kilpatrick, 47, of Manassas, Va., died Saturday at Prince William Hospital, Manassas. She was the general manager of Hampton Inn of Manassas. Her husband, Tommy Kilpatrick, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Heather Snyder of Manassas; sons, Anthony Snyder of Duncan, Okla., and Brandon Snyder of Manassas; her mother, Catherine Strange of Alexandria; brothers, James Strange, David Strange and Fred Strange, all of Alexandria, Hobert Strange of Florence and Leroy Strange of Independence; sisters, Mary Hallis of Lexington and Joyce Schirmer of Cold Spring; and a grandson.

Justine Howard Howell Neal, 80, of Owenton, died Sunday at New Horizons Medical Center, Owenton. She was a homemaker and an employee of Williamstown Roller Mill, and was a member of Owenton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons, Leonard Howell of Richmond and Gary Neal of Owenton; daughters, Lenette Daily of Winchester and Kathy Oak of Union; sisters, Nellie Jenkins of Georgetown and Velma Mason of Owenton; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Carla Laye Snell Robbins, 52, of Airway Heights, Wash., formerly of Hebron, died Feb. 29 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Wash. She was an accountant, formerly of Great American Insurance Co., Cincinnati. Her husband, John Robbins, died in 2002.
Survivors include a son, David Chang of Hebron; a daughter, Dagny Chang of Fort Mitchell; her mother, Juanita Snell of Olathe, Kan.; sisters, Melissa Snell of Olathe and Melody Snell of Edgewood; a brother, Steve Snell of Tucson, Ariz.; and fianc�, Victor Bolstad of Spokane.

Frank Tony Rosse, 58, of Southgate, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired cement mason with Baker Concrete Construction Co., Monroe, Ohio, and a member of St. Therese Church, Southgate.
He was a member of Cement Masons Local No. 534.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Colyer Rosse; a daughter, Gina Marie Traylor of Fort Thomas; sisters, Joyce Reed of California, Tina Sweeney of Indianapolis and Sondra Slusher of Burlington; brothers, Joseph Rosse of Delray, Fla., and Raymond Rosse of Greenville, S.C.; and two grandsons.

Mildred E. Snyder, 84, of Hastings, Minn., formerly of Bellevue, died Saturday at Augustana Health Care Center, Hastings.
She was a registered nurse and director of nurses at Northern Kentucky Care and Rehabilitation Center, Highland Heights, and a member of Divine Mercy Church, Bellevue.
Her husband, Warren A. Snyder, died in 2002.
Survivors include daughters, Carol Brown of Hastings and Pam Eason of Alexandria; a brother, Eugene Zimmerman of New Port Richie, Fla.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Edward N. Tucker, 58, of Melbourne, died Saturday at his home. He was disabled.
Survivors include his wife, Christina Cowan Tucker; sons, Jeremy Curnutt and Leland Tucker, both of Dayton, Albert Tucker and Robert Tucker, both of Melbourne, and Edward Lee Tucker of Falmouth; sisters, Carol Birchfield, Shirley Gibson and Tammy Nelson, all of Melbourne; a brother, Virgil Tucker of Newport; and five grandchildren.

James M. Zimmer Jr., 50, of Dayton, died Thursday at his home. He was a member of the Country Music Association.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Jacobs Zimmer; sons, Josh Zimmer of Dayton and Michael Zimmer of Alexandria; a daughter, Heather Zimmer of Dayton; his mother, Louise Lindleman of West Chester, Ohio; a brother, Tommy Zimmer of Louisville; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.
