Patricia Ann Becker, nurse with a big heart
Whenever Patricia Ann Becker saw a need to help, she never hesitated to give it.
Whether she was aiding patients as a nurse or pursuing community causes as a civic leader, she gave her support to others.
"She was always there to help somebody, no matter what, " said her husband, Tom Becker. She was a "people person."

Her tendency to help others led her to mentor younger nurses. She helped to train the entire unit of nurses on her floor.
"She was able to accomplish a great deal for the girls on her floor, " Becker said.
She would later work with groups promoting organ donation and breast cancer awareness.
In 1980, she and others decided Fort Mitchell needed a life squad of its own. At the time, Crescent Springs was providing life squad services to Fort Mitchell.
