Sister Louis Keller, 84, Villa librarian
Margaret Keller changed her first name to Louis and, as a nun, became Sister Louis Keller to honor her brother, Louis, a Covington priest who died 23 months after his ordination.
"Sister Louis was a quiet, prayerful person who enjoyed being with community in all events, regular or special, " said Sister Andrea Collopy.
Sister Louis, 84, died at St. Walburg Monastery in Villa Hills on Sunday.
She was a librarian at Villa Madonna Academy from 1945 through 1990 and her basic ministry involved library work.
Born in Lexington in 1920, she entered St. Walburg Monastery in 1940. She made perpetual profession in 1945 and celebrated jubilees in 1967, 1992 and 2002.
In recent years, her mobility was limited by a wheelchair, and she had been in ill health for some time.
Survivors include two sisters, Anita Dodd of Villa Hills and Sister Adele Keller of Villa Hills.
Vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Walburg Monastery Chapel in Villa Hills.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at St. Walburg Chapel.
Burial will be at St. Walburg Monastery Cemetery.

Linnemann Funeral Home of Erlanger is in charge of arrangements.
Leland Roscoe Antrobus, 68, of Falmouth, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was retired from East Pendleton Water, Falmouth, and a member and deacon of Oakland Christian Church, Pendleton County.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Antrobus; sons, Jeffrey Antrobus of Florence, Thomas Antrobus and Michael Antrobus, both of Falmouth; daughters, Tammy Ammerman, Lesha Kay Galloway, and Carrie Ammerman, all of Falmouth; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Ky. 41040; or Camp Northward, 49 Highway 159, Falmouth, Ky. 41040.
Haley Nicole Conway, 4, of Newport, died Saturday as a result of an automobile accident. She was the daughter of Jason Conway and Misty Ewing.
Other survivors include four brothers; paternal grandfather, Dan Conway of Liberty Township, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Kimberly Ewing of Newport; paternal great-grandparents, Raymond and Madeline Harrison of Newport; and maternal great-grandparents, Burley and Han Ailstock of Newport.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
Charles Arnold Davis, 47, of Walton, died Sunday at University Hospital, Cincinnati. He was an inventory receiver for Fidelity Investments and a member of Beaver Lick Christian Church, Union.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Reed Davis; a daughter, Rebecca Ogg of Crittenden; a brother, Roy Davis of Bromley; sisters, Fay Moyer of Bromley and Kathy Davis of Lewisburg; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Beaver Lick Christian Church, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Hughes Chapel Cemetery, Walton. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton, is handling the arrangements.
Robley "Rob" Hardin, 58, of Hebron, died Sunday at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was an engineer at Conrail and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Hebron, and assistant Scout Master of Troop No. 228, Hebron. His wife, Linda Hardin; a son, Robley Allen Hardin, III; and a daughter, Jennifer Hardin, preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Jody Allen Hardin of Burlington and Johnathon Allen Hardin of Russell Springs; a daughter, Jenny Marie Hardin of Hebron; sisters, Roberta Turner of Florida, Sandy Drake of Cincinnati, Carol Clark of Science Hill, Ind., and Beverly Cox of Danville; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger. Ricky Rice, 34, of Covington, died Sept. 20 at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was disabled.
Survivors include sons, Brandon Norris and Christopher Norris, both of Covington; his mother, Jean Rice of Covington; brothers, Steven C. Rice and Cornelius Rice, both of Covington, and Danny Rice of Cincinnati; and sisters, Wanda Rice and Bernadette Nelson, both of Covington.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at United Community Christian Church, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Rice will be cremated. Jones, Simpson & Gee Funeral Home, Covington, is handling the arrangements.
Fredrick Philip "Pete" Rush, 62, of Cincinnati, died Sunday at his residence. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include sons, Kevin Rush and David Rush, both of Cincinnati; a daughter, Pam Rush of Cincinnati; a brother, Virgil Rush of Alexandria; sisters, Eileen Crank of Laurel, Ind., and Mary Sester and Margaret Houston, both of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home, Alexandria. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Cemetery, Laurel, Ind.
Ruth Smith, 88, of Southgate, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Charles Smith of Forest Park, Ohio, William Smith of Mount Healthy, Ohio, Lawrence Smith and Curtis Smith, both of Newport, and Norman Smith of Southgate; daughters, Martha Bandy and Marie Hudson, both of Beckley, W.Va., and Florence Allen of Forestville, Md.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jones, Simpson & Gee Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, W.Va.
Clinton "Pee Wee" Sydnor, 63, of Falmouth, died Monday at Harrison Hospital.
Arrangements are pending at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.
Earnest Dean Towles, 61, of Owenton, died Sunday at New Horizons Medical Center, Owenton. She was a retired secretary from the Kentucky Department of Social Services, Owen County, and a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Owenton.
Survivors include sons, David Towles of Owenton and James Towles of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Robert Towles of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Carl Cannon of Carrollton; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald & New Funeral Home, Owenton. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Owenton.
