Katherine Landwehr, dedicated to helping
Katherine Landwehr believed so much in churches' helping poor people that she not only volunteered for church service work locally, but also in Germany, the home of her parents before they came to America.
"She was very involved with churches in this area and in Germany, " said Dennis Halpin of Taylor Mill, Ms. Landwehr's nephew. "She would go over to Germany quite often and work with the churches over there. She helped the churches with food and other assistance for people in need.
