FRED EUGENE SNODGRASS, 70, of Louisa, Ky, formerly of Nolan, W.Va. death were three sisters, Hazel Snodgrass, Rose Phipps, and Panzy Moretz, along with two brothers, Freeland Snodgrass and Vernon Snodgrass. Survivors include two sisters, Helen Fugett of Borderland, W.Va., and Mary Magdalene Fugett and husband Jim of Fosteria, Oh; two brothers, William Earl Snodgrass of Fosteria, Oh, and Raymond Snodgrass of Cleveland, Oh; one special niece, Mary Helen Williamson and husband Nathan of Genoa, W.Va.; and friends and family too numerous to mention. MR. GUSTIE L. FOREMAN, of Wayne, W.Va., death along with three brothers, William, John, and Clyde; and five sisters, Nola, Ola, Dora, Pearl Mae, and Lillian.
Survivors include one son, James Foreman of Wayne, W.Va.; one grandson, Heath Foreman; two great-grandchildren, Zane and Zachary Foreman; and friends and family too numerous to mention.

HERBERT "GENE" DYER, 77, of Lavalette, W.Va., husband of Betty Jo Dyer death is one sister Joyce Ann Wilson. He was a member of Mays Chapel Church and a retiree of Chemtron Corp.
He is also survived by two sons, Ricky Dyer of Lavalette, and Leslie Dyer and his wife Mary of Huntington; three grandchildren, Nicole Gue and husband Kenny of Salt Rock, Jeremy Dyer and Brandon Dyer of Virginia; one great grandchild, Hayden Gue; Also surviving is his step-mother, Lucy Dyer West; three brothers, Fred Dyer and wife Joyce, Bobbie Dyer and wife Ruthie, and Jimmy Napier and wife Patty of East Lynn; seven sisters, Louise Ratcliff and husband Jack, Mae Slazo and husband Jack, of Holden, Bessie Martin of Nitro, Gaynell Tyree of Dunbar, W.Va., Julia Hackney and husband Pete of Lavalette, Ernestine Gilkerson and husband Junior of Wayne, and Donna Pierson and husband David of East Lynn.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Talbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Mays death. Olive was a homemaker and a member of Clarity United Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Gilliam; two sons, Sherman Baker Jr. and his wife Ceva Sue, and Dewey Michael Baker and his wife Angela; 8 grandchildren: Donna, Pamela, Della, Barbara, Donald, Laura, Randy, and Lisa; 11 great grandchildren: Brandon, Ryan, Shawn, Andrew, Matthew, Timothy, Jared, Jacob, Kayla, Lexi, and Lauren; and one great-great granddaughter, McKenzie. Also surviving is stepdaughter, Wanda Osburn and her husband Wesley; and one sister, Ernestine Mahone.

Skeens, Tonya Skeens, Amber Hardwick, Andrea Nicks, Brandon Vance, Brittany Vance, Kristina Perry, Andrew Perry, Kaylee Perry, Brandi Dillon and husband Jonah, Stephen Ray Perry, Derek Adkins, Brianna Perry, Andrea Rowe and husband Cecil, Nicholas Skeans; five Great Grandchildren: Hannah, Austin Stephens, Ethan Stephens, Tanner Napier, and Penelope Damron. She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews: Carol Clark and husband Clifford of East Lynn, W.Va., Sandra McComas and husband Harold of Branchland, W.Va., Kenneth Sanders and wife Phyllis of Wooster, Ohio, Tom Sanders and wife Blanche of Lavalette, W.Va., Woody Sanders and wife Ruby of Wayne, W.Va., Robert Sanders and wife Ogareta of Huntington, W.Va., Tommy Sanders Jr. and wife Barbara of Barboursville, W.Va.; special nieces, Fern Meadows and husband Richard of Lavalette, W.Va., Betty Blankenship and husband Sam of Lavalette, W.Va., Rita Baker and husband Bob of East Lynn, W.Va., and Myrtle Adkins and husband Ronnie of East Lynn, who was her primary caregiver and with whom she made her home; special friends Hanable and Carolyn Adkins and Sue Gilkerson; and friends and neighbors too numerous too mention.

Richard was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War, as well as a faithful member and officer of the VFW Post 8429 in Ceredo. He was a retired auto mechanic and loved 4-wheeling in his spare time.
He leaves behind three daughters, Sherry Chafin of Ohio, Tammy Cunningham of Wayne and her husband Jamie, whom Richard thought of as a son, and Caroline Lou Chafin of Huntington, W.Va.; two sons, Richard Chafin and his wife Jesse of Wayne, and Shannon Chafin and his wife Nacole of Arkansas; and 14 grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Deloris Adkins and husband Waldo, Judy Drenner and husband Benny, and Charlott Adkins and husband Braxton, all of Huntington; three brothers, Jerry Chafin and wife Betty of Maryland, William Chafin of Huntington, and Phillip Chafin and wife Catherine of Wayne; very special niece Joyann Belcher and her husband Sam of Wayne; special friends Kelly Arnold and family; several nieces and nephews, many who called him "Poppy"; and friends and neighbors too numerous too mention. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dennis Moore, Patty Napier, and all the staff of Hospice for their care and love.
