MARVIN E. (Marv) SMITH, of Genoa, WV, departed this life on August 9, 2008 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in Burial will be at Rome went to be with the Lord Friday, August 08, 2008. He was death along with one daughter, Mary Theresa Terry, three brothers, George Terry, Sr., Ceril Terry, and Johnny Terry, and one sister, Georgetta Snodgrass. Pharis was a retired well driller and served our country in the US Army.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy Wayne Terry and his wife Cindy, Rick Terry, and Pharis Winfield Terry, Jr., all of Wayne, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Robert Fry, Elizabeth Beekman, Jesse Fry, Amy Terry, Nathan Terry, Natasha Terry, Anna Terry, Eva Terry, and Dakota Terry, all of Wayne; and three great-grandchildren, Jaiden Fry of Huntington, Kaylee Fry, and Landon Tyler Beekman, both of Wayne.
Also surviving are four sisters, Lois Terry of Huntington, Viney Adkins of Hamlin, W.Va., Naomi Cremeans and her husband Ronnie of Gallipolis, OH, and Linda Sexton of Barboursville, W.Va.; two special friends, Harold Pelfrey and Noah P. Adkins; the Dean family of Huntington, W.Va., who have been lifelong friends; an friends and neighbors too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted noon Monday, August 11, 2008 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Harold Pelfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 31, 2008 after a long illness. She was a homemaker as well as a cook for the American Legion Post 93 in Kenova. Cloie was also a member of the Wolfpen Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Barey Frasher; one daughter, Teresa Mills and her husband J.R. of Wayne, W.Va.; one son Garey Frasher and his wife Beth of Kenova, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Kristen Watts of Ceredo, W.Va., Brian Watts of Wayne, W.Va., Corey Frasher of Mt. Washington, KY, Bryanna Frasher and Bryson Frasher, both of Kenova, W.Va.; three step-grandchildren, Christopher Mills, Steven Mills, and Ryan Mills, all of Wayne, W.Va. Also surviving are three sisters, Ruby Porter and her husband Gilmer of Huntington, W.Va., Betty Hill and her husband Freddie of East Lynn, W.Va., and Ilean Stiltner and her husband Howard of Seth, W.Va.; one brother, Arden Ross and his wife Brenda of East Lynn; one brother-in-law, Donald Pierce, of East Lynn; her mother-in-law, Vicie Osburn of East Lynn, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Emual Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Huntington for their care and support during Cloie’s illness.
ICIE KIRK, 75, of East Lynn, W.Va., Burial will follow in the Edgar Maynard death along with three sisters, Sarie Osborne, Pearl Osborne, and Roxie Osborne; four brothers, William Osborne, Winfred Osborne, Ed Osborne, and Robert Lee Osborne; and one son-in-law, Clyde Helmondollar. Icie was a homemaker, and a member of the East Lynn Church.
Survivors include four sons, Elliott Wicker Jr., and his wife Cathy of Huntington, W.Va., John Walter Osborne and his wife Fannie of Danville, W.Va., Goradale Kirk and his wife Jean of Kenova, W.Va., and Carl Kirk of East Lyn, W.Va.; two daughters, Rhoda Sue Helmondollar of Wayne, W.Va., and Billie Jean Pawlicky and her husband Steven of Cleveland, Ohio; one nephew, Junior Osborne of Madison, W.Va., and a host of friends and family.

Thank you to River’s Bend Nursing Center, Cabell Huntington Hospital SICU staff, and Hospice of Huntington for all of your special care and love. SANDRA SUE DEMPSEY WATTS, 48, of Wayne, W.Va., Burial will follow in the Stephenson death along with one brother, Scott Dempsey. She loved 4-wheeling & spending time with friends and family.
Sandra leaves behind her husband, Larry Watts of Wayne, W.Va.; one son, Matthew Passef of Toledo, Ohio; and mother-in-law, Evelyn McCloud of Wayne, W.Va. Also surviving are her parents Richard Dempsey and Margie Dempsey; one brother, Joe Dempsey and his wife Sheila; two nephews, Alex Dempsey and Ricky Dempsey; special friends Sue & Dave Adkins, all of Toledo, Ohio; and a host of friends and family.

JULIA MAE COPLEY, 70, of Wayne, Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon death along with one sister, Carol Jean Rieder.
Survivors include two sons, Fred Copley and his wife Barbara of Cincinnati, OH and Aley Copley Jr. and his wife Brenda of Scottown, OH; one daughter, Brenda Adkins and her husband Kevin of Wayne; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Harold Marcum and his wife Violet of Lavalette, W.Va.; two sisters, Deloris Barger and her husband Ross of Lavalette, W.Va., and Sadie Adkins of Wayne, W.Va.; and a host of friends and family.
