Kenneth L. Alley went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2006 at the age of 94 years. He has been a resident of San Antonio, Texas since 1948 and served his Country in the Army-Air Corps. Kenneth was a member of the Kiwanis, American Legion and a Charter member of the Historical Society of Leon Valley and Archivist volunteer at the Leon Valley Public Library. He was a Civic and Community leader and had served two terms as Mayor of Leon Valley from 1980-1984. Kenneth was preceded in Funeral service will be held at the Northwest Hills First United Methodist Church on Tuesday March 28, 2006 at 10:00 a. m. with Cemetery.

Meghan Siobhan Baxter, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2006 at the age of 18. Ms. Baxter was a native and lifetime resident of San Antonio, a May 2005 graduate of McCollum High School and a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. born April 19, 1921 in Mt. Enterprise, Tx. married Edwin H. Palm over 50 years ago. She was a Charter member of Rector Memorial United Methodist Church. Doris had been President of the Methodist Women’s society and a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her many years as a librarian for Southwest ISD elementary schools. Doris was very active in the PTA at the state level. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Edwin H. Palm; daughter, Judith P. and husband Charles W. Keller; sons: Ronald and wife Lynn McCreless, James and wife Dalia Palm, Richard Palm; brother, Buford E. Farris, Jr.; 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Linnie V. Ranzau born to Feliciano C. Valadez and La Venna Peters Valadez in San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Antone R. Valadez and neice Felicia Valadez. She leaves her loving husband Albert E. Ranzau Jr., children: Damon Ray Mills and wife April, Dustin Robert Mills and wife Cris, Albert E. Ranzau III and wife Becky, Karen Ranzau Phillips and husband Terry, grandchildren: Chase Phillips and Alexandra Mills, brothers: Chano Gene Valadez and Joe Lee Valadez and wife Peggy. She graduated from Highlands High School. She worked at K.A.F.B., The Department of Human Resources and later retired from SBC. Linnie loved her husband. She loved being a mother and “Grammie” to her grandkids. She was a member of the Hondo Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a member of the Telecom Pioneers. The family extends their appreciation to the Bone Marrow Transplant Center nurses and doctors.
