Noah Baird
Noah Baird, beloved son of Shann Schubert and Darrah Dunn, born on July 9, 1985, to Shann Schubert and Guy Baird, in Denison, Texas. From his beginning, Noah's tenacious hold on life inspired all those who cared for him to find the best parts of themselves. His presence in the lives of family and friends, healthcare professionals, human service providers, and the special education community was a constant reminder of the human need for compassion and acceptance. Noah's life was filled with people, laughter, music, and love. His joy was infectious, and all who knew him responded by including him in everyday human celebrations. His moments of suffering were equally empowering, challenging those around him to find their deepest reserves of courage and compassion. Noah's family is very grateful to all who shared in his journey through this life.
Noah is survived by his parents, Shann and Darrah, his brother Tobin Baird and wife Karine Kyle, and their daughter Elissa; brothers Devon Dunn and Alex Dunn; sisters Anabelle Dunn and Adedi Jo Dunn; father Guy Baird and wife Barbara; grandparents Glen and BeBe Armstrong, Boyd and Shirley Dunn and John and Mary Schubert; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family welcomes you to share in a celebration of Noah's life at a memorial service, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00p.m. at Red River Unitarian Universalist Church. The church is located at 102 West Harrison Street in Denison, Texas. Driving directions are available at the church's website, rruu.org.

Marcelino E. Garza
Marcelino E. Garza, 74, Entombment will follow at Chapel On The Hill in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home.
Marcelino was married Esther Cantu Guerrero on July 2, 1979 in Durant, OK. They have enjoyed more than thirty years of marriage. He was a member of Senior Passport Club and a parishoner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodcrafting, dancing, traveling, and bowling. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly.
Marcelino was preceded in born on June 20, 1914 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of John Charles Davis and Callie McAfee Davis. She married Olan W. Kinnard of Wink, Texas.
She started the first 4H Wrangler Unit in Grayson County, a life member of Parent Teachers Association, Red Cross Lifesaving instructor, Camp Fire Girls leader, member of Martha Jefferson Randolph Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Associations.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Julia Kinnard Beauchamp and grandson Brad Beauchamp.

John Farley
John Riley Farley, lifelong resident of Whitewright, Texas, son of Jack Pendergrass Farley and Margaret Riley Farley passed away on January 3, 2009. John spent his life as a banker in the grain business and as a realtor.
John's favorite day of the week was thursday, better known as Poker night with the boys. He loved the jokes and camaraderie. John's favorite thing to do was playing with his grandchildren or just talking with his 2 grown children. John was also very active in his community having served as; Past President of Woodlawn Men's Golf Association, Pat Board Member Denison Industrial Development Committee. Past board member of Grayson County Rehabilitation Center. Past board Member of Grayson County Boy Scouts of America. Past President and Board member of Oak Hill married when she was 18 and he was 21, they raised 2 wonderful children together. They were Interment will follow at Oak Hill passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
Vernon was married Helen O. Frizzell in Denison, Texas.
Vernon Macie Lashley served in World War II in the Signal Company of the 36th Infantry Division, which was activated unit of the Texas National Guard. He loved his family, his country and above all God!
Vernon was preceded in passed away on Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Homestead of Sherman, one day after her 87th birthday. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. born on April 2, 1922 in Independence, Kansas the daughter of Ernest A. and Ada Mae Gulley Faulk.
She was a graduate of Independence High School.
For twenty eight years she served Wilson N. Jones Hospital faithfully as a switch board operator.
Fern married Owen Virgil Swank in Sherman, TX, who preceded her in death by her parents, husband, son Duane Elliot Nelson on December 24, 1949, and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her son Richard “Dickie” Edward Nelson and wife Charlene of Mansfield, TX, Stanley Howard Nelson and wife Mary of Sherman, TX, Keith Ellis Nelson and wife Anna of Sherman, TX; six grandchildren Shawn and Mark Nelson of Mansfield, Kristi Boatner of Denison, Joseph and Julie Nelson of Sherman, Michael W. Nelson of Sherman and 3 great grandchildren Kelsey, Dalton, and Kayden Boatner of Denison; and brother Ernie Faulk of Olympia, WA
