Services for Dola Rea Ham, 74, of Sherman will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home. Dr. Eddy Johnson of Grayson Bible Baptist Church will officiate. Cemetery.
She born on November 2, 1934 in Sherman, TX the daughter of Walter O. Smith and Evelyn Myrtle Vest Smith.
On June 2, 1951 she death on December 12, 1986.
She was a member of Grayson Bible Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ham was preceded in born September 30, 1930 to Charles Oscar and Ethel Mae Tolbert in Sherman, Texas. She lived in Howe and graduated Howe High School in 1947. On July 1, 1950, she death by her parents and one sister, Etta Sue Casada.
Charlsie Cemetery in Howe. Pallbearers will be Harold Lee Finney, Jimmy Finney, Davis Finney, and grandsons: Jared Davis, John Davis and Jacob Davis.
In lieu of flowers, Charlsie requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her husband, Jamie; alzheimer's Assoc. of Greater Dallas, 7610 N. Stemmons FWY STE 600, Dallas, TX 75247-9952.

Carolyn Kay Blakey of Sherman, TX Born August 8, 1943 in Paris, Texas, she was the daughter of C.B. ‘Buck’ and Lillie Mae Barker. She graduated from Sherman High and attended TWU for 2 years. She met her husband, Donald Bryant Blakey while growing up in Sherman and they death by her mother, Lillie Mae Barker.
She is survived by her husband, Don of Sherman, her son, Greg Blakey and wife Kelly of Plano, two grandchildren, Brooke & Brett Blakey, her father, C.B. ‘Buck’ Barker of Sherman, her brother Donald C. Barker and wife Jan of Mesquite, sister Vicki D. Barker Owens and husband Rick of Colleyville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Blake Owens, Jeff Barker, Ken Gossage, Andy Faber, Steve Korioth, and Jack Bumpus.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be recited for Janice Reed Schmitz, 81, of Tom Bean on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Reverend Jeremy Myers assisted by Deacon Albert Miller. passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
Janice was death by her parents, husband, sons Donald and Gerald Rathman, daughter Jeannie Rathman, brothers Charles and Pat Rego, and sister Betty Lehman.
She is survived by her daughter Sharron Lee and husband Jerry of Tom Bean, sons Ronald Rathman of Carrollton, Richard Rathman of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren Richard Lee, Andrea Salim, Michael Lee, Ryan Rathman and Rachel Hairford. Also, surviving is her brother Ray Rego and wife Lucy of Elroy, WI, her daughter-in-law Kay of Deerfield, WI, TX two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Rego of Verona, WI and Syvilla Rego of LaValle, WI.
Honorary pallbearers for Mrs. Reed -Schmitz will be Richard Lee, Michael Lee, Michael Salim, Ryan Rathman and Edward Bradshaw.

Veda Faye Hance, Sherman, born on August 1, 1926, she was 82 years old. She has gone to be with the Lord and her parents, her children and her brother and sisters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, at the Funeral Home at 1 p.m., with born on August 1, 1926 in Dexter, Texas to Walter and Louise Johnson Riddle.
She is survived by her son Marty Herron, Sr. and daughter Vicki Davis both of Sherman; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons Chester Herron and Jeff Herron; daughters Linda Herron Mayton and Debra Skidmore. Also gone before her were her parents Walter and Louise Riddle, brother Revis Riddle, sisters Inez Pierce, Charlene Smith, Alien Fordyce, Lorraine Scrum and Pauline Caughey.
There will never be enough words to say how much we will miss and love her. Her Family!
