Lucy L. Rich, 102, of McAuley Terrace, 5921 Winwood Drive, Johnston, Cemetery. Mrs. Rich, a homemaker, was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She was a member of St. Augustin's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Marian LUCY L. RICH Mahedy of Des Moines; a son, Raymond Rich of New York; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. William F. Mahedy, 27, of 3100 E. Clinton Ave. Cemetery in Ankeny. Mr. Mahedy lived in Des Moines all his life. He is survived by his parents, Mary and William Mahedy, and a brother, Tim, all of Des Moines; four sisters, Jean Mahedy-McVea of Junction City, Kan., Michele Roland of Monroe and Julie Wignall and Theresa Mahedy, both of Des Moines; and his grandmother, Lucille O'Roarke of Newton. Harry J. Postal, 75, of 4216 Forest Ave. Cemetery. Mr. Postal was died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center. He was married Mary B. Armstrong Tuxhorn in 1962. Mr. McLaughlin lived in Springfield most of his life and retired in 1985 after 37 years of employment from Fiatallis as a drill press operator. He was a World War II Navy veteran, having been stationed in Bremerton, Wash. He won the World War II Victory Medal and was a member of Fiatallis Retirees. Survivors: wife, Mary B.; a daughter, Dianne McLaughlin of Springfield; two sisters, Kathleen Hammond of Issaquah, Wash., and Mary Lafin of Elkhart, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Rev. John Ossola officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National died Tuesday (Aug. 1, 1995) at home. Mrs. Conder was a nurse's aide at Greentree Nursing Home in Warrenton. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, Main and Lincoln streets, Hawk Point. Marsh, 67, formerly of St. Charles, died Tuesday (Aug. 1, 1995) at her home. Miss Wolters was retired after working at a yarn company in Scottsburg, Va. Samuel Ray Mercer Samuel Ray Mercer, 52, of St. Peters Cemetery on South Third Street, Winfield. Among survivors are his wife of nearly 30 years, Dollie Mercer of St. Peters; three sons, Eldie Palmer and Walter Palmer, both of Vandalia, Mo., and Charles Palmer of Eolia, Mo.; three daughters, Clara Johnson and Rosa Jackson, both of St. Peters, and January Carr of St. Charles; two sisters, Augustine Cox of St. Louis and Ruth Mercer of Tennessee; a brother, James Mercer of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Vanek Jr. Nicholas Zachary Vanek and Martin Keith Vanek Jr., premature twins, died Friday (Aug. 22, 1997) at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker. The funeral Mass was scheduled to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 324 South Third Street, St. Charles. Burial was to be at St. Peters died Friday in Columbia, Mo., of complications following heart surgery. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustin's Catholic Church. The body was donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Mr. Robesky, a lifelong Des Moines resident, retired from teaching in Des Moines and St. Marys schools. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Catholic Church, Disabled American Veterans, AmVets, Beaverdale Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and St. Vincent De Paul Society. A sister, Mary Ellen Collins of Des Moines, survives. His longtime companion was Marian Mahedy of Des Moines.
