Alice Castleman, "always there' for sons
From driving a delivery truck for the American Red Cross during World War II to listening to Cincinnati Reds games on the radio, Alice Hill Castleman loved all that is American.

Ms. Castleman's love for her sons and for sports came together in her support of Beechwood High School football.
Even during years when the team had terrible records, she was in the stands supporting her sons, rain or shine.
"When there were five people in the stands sitting there in the rain, she was one of them, " Castleman said.
"Whenever we were in trouble, she was there for us."
