'Butch' Huntman, 65, sold cars for 42 years
When Henry Claude "Butch" Huntman Sr. wasn't selling cars, you could usually find him helping needy people or spending time with his family.
"He was a very pleasant, caring person and everybody just loved him, " said Barbara Ann Copley of Covington, who was married
to Mr. Huntman for 27 years.
Mr. Huntman, 65, of Fort Mitchell, died Wednesday at his home.
He was a car salesman for 42 years, working at Riverside Ford in Newport, Wellen Ford in Covington, Kerry Ford in Cincinnati and Robke Ford in Covington.
"He was a very good car salesman, " said Ms. Copley. "He told customers the truth. He didn't lie to them. That's why he had such a long career."
Mr. Huntman was a member of a service organization, the Sunday Morning Club of Covington, for 25 years and served as president of the club the past 18 years.
The organization helped needy people.
"Butch enjoyed helping others, " said Ms. Copley. "That was something he wanted to do."
Ms. Copley said Mr. Huntman was especially devoted to his two children and his two stepchildren.
"He spent a lot of time with the children and was a good family man, " she said.
Other survivors include a son, Henry Claude "Duce" Huntman II of Latonia; a daughter, Debra Sidi of Cincinnati; a stepson, Gregory Garrard of Mason, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Kimberly A. Harris of Corinth; brothers, William Huntman of Crestview Hills and Robert Huntman of Chicago; and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will be at Cincinnati Cremation Co.

Lola Mae Sacra Berardi, 89, of Butler, died Saturday at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler. She was a waitress with Campbell House Restaurant and the Golden Horseshoe in Lexington. Two infant sons preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Berardi; sons, Robert M. Ockerman of North Port, Fla., Gary W. Ockerman of Park City, Ill., and William R. Ockerman of Butler; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Garden. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
Earl L. Daniel Jr., 82, of California, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired rigger with Interlake Steel in Newport, a senior deacon with Flagg Springs Baptist Church in California and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Daniel; daughters, Brenda White and Wanda Wanner, both of California; a son, Tom Daniel of Alexandria; a sister, Genevieve Daniel of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Elaine M. Dillon, 77, of Maysville, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. She was a former collections manager and manager of welfare finance with Denham Medical Clinic, a member of St. Patrick Church in Maysville, and a member of the church Altar Society and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Steven J. Mitchell of Maysville; and sisters, Ruby D. Jones and Mae Marie Jackson.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, Maysville. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Maysville, with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery. Sheryl Fields, 62, of Crittenden, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
Arrangements are pending at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden.
Edward Allen Foster, 53, of Dayton, died at 1:11 a.m. Saturday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a disabled security systems analyst and consultant with Electronic Eye Inc., Cincinnati, and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Newport. He was an eucharistic minister at the church, and a member of the church choir.
Survivors include sisters, Ann Foster and Connie Hoffman, both of Newport.
Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Wednesday at Holy Spirit Church, Newport. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport, followed by prayers. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Mary Margaret Green, 84, of Edgewood, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a cafeteria manager with Turkeyfoot Middle School. Her husband, William S. Green, died in 1984.
Survivors include sons, Jack Green and Jim Green, both of Edgewood; daughters, Shirley Green and Virginia Arlinghaus, both of Edgewood; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jeanette Catherine Hogle, 78, of Erlanger, died at 6:25 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired clerk with the Internal Revenue Service. Her husband, Earl Hogle, died in 1983. Sons, Ronald Hogle and David Hogle, died in 1992 and 1993, respectively.

Catherine "Kay" Hughes, of Fort Thomas, died Saturday at Highlands of Fort Thomas nursing home. She was a bookkeeper with F.A. Kamp Flooring Co., Cincinnati, and a member of St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Her husband, Robert Hughes, died in 1987.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Ed Kelly, 77, of Covington, died at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was a retired owner of Kelly Brothers Lumber Co. in Latonia, a deacon and Sunday school teacher with Latonia Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Recker Kelly; a son, Steve Kelly of Edgewood; daughters, Connie Matlock of Independence, and Susan Cook and Lori Whiteker, both of Covington; a brother, Kenneth Kelly of Covington; a sister, Emma Batson of Covington; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Latonia Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Ruth Smither McClure, 91, of Owenton, died Friday at Owenton Manor. She was a homemaker and a member of Monterey Baptist Church. Her husband, Willard McClure, died in 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Joann Threet of Monterey, and a grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald and New Funeral Home, Main Street location, Owenton. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Kimberly Sue Meadows, 42, of Cincinnati, formerly of Latonia, died Monday at her home.
She was a bakery worker and a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia.
Survivors include a son, Joshua Pierson of Latonia; her mother, Myra Haubner Ross of Latonia; sisters, Melody Biddle and Janet Boone, both of Latonia; and a brother, James Edward Boone of Cincinnati.

Dorothy "Doti" Neltner Myers, 81, of Fort Wright, died at 1 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
She was a retired executive secretary with American Appraisal Co., Cincinnati.
Survivors include a daughter, Shaun Schneider of Fort Wright; a sister, Madlyn Heavren of Cedarburg, Wis.; two granddaughters, four step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

James Lee Perkins, 90, of Carrollton, died Friday at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Kentucky State Highway Department, a member of Ghent Baptist Church and a former member of Carrollton Moose Lodge.
His wife, Lorene Belle Perkins, died in 1995.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Louise Burns of Ghent, and niece, Norma Birchfield of Carrollton.

Marion Emmett Riddell, 76, of Burlington, died Friday a t St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
He was a crew chief with American Airlines, a member of Hebron Lutheran Church and a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ellen Riddell; sons, Daniel Wayne Riddell of Jacksvonville, Fla., Joseph Emmett Riddell of Colorado, David Marion Riddell, Kelly Thomas Bridewell and Tracy Brian Bridewell, all of Burlington; daughters, Victoria Rae Riddell of Fort Mitchell and Diana Adelia Vickers of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Laura Adelia Wohrley of Fort Thomas; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was a retired supervisor with Consolidated Freight Trucking Co.
